Combine with a Zulus HD and man what a combo!!!
Solid construction. Very bright laser and lamp. Lamp is just slightly red when you look at it. Nothing like the 850 on the Zulus. That said it won’t have the range. The laser is completely invisible to the naked eye. Only suggestions would be a replaceable battery and focus for the IR torch. For the price it’s rock solid. Easy on/off etc. Definitely would recommend if you have the optics for IR and need more stealth.

For the Price, it's incredible. But some things need addressing.
Absolutely amazed by this unit. The laser is quite powerful and stays small enough out to distance to still be quite precise. Illuminator is bright but very flood, I wish it was much more focused, and maybe had a flip down diffuser for flood. There is a faint pink hue visible from the front of illuminator LED but it's nothing crazy. Similar to other good IR LED devices. Obviously not VCSEL. Laser isn't visible because it's so concentrated, but I imagine if pointed directly at someone's face, they would notice the pink color. Biggest problem is that it has a built in battery with magnetic charging. Why? I wish it was a swappable CR123A or 18650. Some people on reddit took it apart and it's just a 18650 soldered to wires so it could technically be replaced if it goes bad, but also nobody wants to charge a weapon mounted device. Especially a magnetic cord where you're always worried it might have been bumped off and didn't charge. Just use USB-C if you're going to make me charge it instead of having another proprietary cable. They make a CR123A powered device that I also got but it's not as good in my opinion, as the button's aren't as good or laid out as well as this one and that one is M-lok only, so it needs an adapter for top mounting on Pic-Rail. This one is a much better design. If only that back cap screwed off...Pros:Rugged construction.Pretty BrightErgonomic button placementLow-profile, doesn't obstruct opticPrice!!!ConsIlluminator is too flood.LED Glow Barely visible to naked eye (would be less of a problem if more focused)Magnetic charging and built-in battery.ToughSoul really has made something great here. If they make another version (please do ToughSoul) I hope they make the light more focused and have the battery interchangeable. If you changed that people would have very little reason to spring for the more expensive units. VCSEL tech would also be great to get rid of the little visible signature, but I assume the LED tech is why this unit is so affordable. Also some are claiming this device is not 940nm. I'm pretty confident it's 940 as I have some 850nm LED devices and they are much more visible to the naked eye. It's just that LED tech inherently has some out of bandwidth radiation, and some of that is visible in this case. Going to try a bandpass filter to see if I can nearly eliminate the visible emissions.

Purchase!!!!!
Works as advertised! A must buy!!!!

Not quite there yet.
I bought one of these for a Bren 2 as a lark. It won't fit on the HBI rail without the plastic standoffs that come with it, which I don't find all that reassuring.I have a few major problems with this unit that make it a no-go for me. The integrated battery is a non-starter for me, period. I knew I wouldn't like it when I ordered it, but I wanted to see if the performance made it acceptable. It does not.IR light has a hotspot, but it's rather undefined, more like a hot... general region rather than a spot. It's very floody. Not great for use on a rifle, and given the size and form factor making it suited for only that, and only on the left side of a rifle, that's a problem.Laser is too powerful and blooms a lot at ranges under 100 yards. Aimed it at the mountain a few hundred yards from my house and it projected a crisp dot, but with the offset/convergence, that's still relatively unusable. The buttons... it would be better if they were more defined in some way. I feel like I'm feeling around and fumbling for them. I'm not a fan of "press for constant" activation with these, either. The "on" indicator light is dim, and not in a useful place in terms of it being a safety feature. The LED should be to the rear of the unit so it's plainly and easily visible to the user, not at the top. That brings me to a major problem with this unit....The combination of features sets up a scenario where it's nearly impossible to actually mount it to the rifle without turning it on. Since you won't be doing this in the dark with NODs on, the only way to know that you've turned on a powerful IR laser is the little red indicator light on the side of the unit. The buttons, being sensitive and "tap for constant on" are also placed where you're pressing the unit up against the side of your rifle in order to mount it. With no way to remove the battery to render the device inoperable, there's no safe way to mount this thing to your rifle without just having to resort to being really careful not to touch the buttons. Who thought this thing up?Can't speak to whether it holds zero yet, but I can say that I'm concerned that one or both of the buttons will get pressed in my rifle bag on the way to the range tomorrow night, which at the very least, will be battery drain and a safety risk for when I open the range bag not knowing there's a powerful IR laser activated inside. It's also a fire risk for the thing sitting in an enclosed container with it activated. With no way to remove the battery and no lockout feature, this thing is dangerous. I'll take it to the range and try it out to see what it does with handling recoil, but even that doesn't matter because I'll be returning it."Toughsoul": Let me tell you exactly what we're all looking for. You seem like you're getting closer to providing what people want, but let me save you some time and effort here.No more onboard batteries, EVER. Removable CR123's or 18650's, period.Rear-facing activation indicator LED, preferably in blue.Momentary buttons ONLY.NO STROBE, EVER.IR light with a tight, focused beam.IR laser that's either got adjustable power levels, or one power level that doesn't bloom at 25 meters.Form factor that places the IR laser exactly in line centered with the Picatinny or MLOK attachment.Crane plug compatible, period. If you put out a unit with those features under a hundred bucks with a tough aluminum housing and solid attachment hardware, you would own this segment of the market. Otherwise, you're just producing overly dangerous toys.

They have a good design hugs the front sight post keeps it less bulked out looking at it from front.
The ones with the built in battery have a built in 45 degree. Will try freezing them. Be nice to see them offer diffusers form these 1.5" lights, concept is good if it can take days of 20 below weather and still charge and work, thank, recommends, will buy more. Be nice to see the design mold with 45 to hug the sight post on the one with ir, laser, and light with illuminator. They'd easily sell for $180.

Garbage
I purchased this item. It came to me, I followed all instructions. It didn't work. I set up an exchange. Sent the broken one back, got a new one. New one doesn't work either. I'm debating even trying a third time. Clearly the company doesn't take any pride in their work to at the very least, make sure it works before they ship. Ridiculous.

Works great, bright laser.
Obviously this is infrared, so you need night vision to see the laser or the flashlight. The flashlight sort of just provides a boost for your existing night vision equipment. Can see the laser clear as day through the NV scope.

Go another route
Not bright in NVD, inexpensive product and still not worth it, spend the money on something better
