Norton Clipper Miter Saw Blade, 10 x 5/8 Inch 40 Tooth, Circular Table Saw Blade, for Hardwood, Softwood, Chipboard

I have this in my table saw right now. I am working on a very large project using 8/4 popular. This has sliced through 2" thick popular for about 3 weeks now and its still razor sharp. Its well balanced, sharp and leaves a decent finish. My only complaint is for some reason this blade throws a lot of sawdust up and out of the saw instead of down and under it, not sure why as its never happened before. For reference, I've probably run about 10,000 ft of boards through it so far, so its really no joke. I have noticed no blade wobble or blade bend either. Also, some of these blades have quite a loud high pitched whistle and this blade did not do that either. Overall, a really nice blade.

i tried this sawblade on my miter saw — the package says its good for table saws too — and it works very nicely. the carbide teeth are all set to perfection and give a very clean cut with no burning or splintering. i've cut several dozen 2x4s with it and there's no sign of wear yet, so i expect it to give good service life. very happy with the performance of this blade so far!

Ordered this to replace a Diablo general purpose 40T on my miter saw, and before that a DeWalt, both of which were long-lasting and excellent. Norton is kind of the new kid on the block when it comes to saw blades, but I've heard good things so I'll give the Clipper series a spin. Diablo and DeWalt set a high bar, but I enjoy trying different products whenever possible. And supposedly this one can be (professionally) resharpened.

This Norton 10-inch 40 tooth 5/8 arbor saw blade looks tough and aggressive. It cuts hardwood like it is butter! The cut is a little course but makes up for that with toughness. This is one heavy duty saw blade.
