This was A perfect in-between option for my 20 month old (28lbs): The classic puddle jumper was too big and unable to keep him upright in the water, but he was too big to wear the infant size life jackets. With two buckles on the back and the two leg straps, this device stays in place while he plays in the water and jumps all around. It is difficult to find a float for this particular age and weight, so I'm thrilled to have finally found the perfect one for him this summer. It allows him enough movement to start to use muscle groups that he hasn't had to use before, but it gives me some freedom in the pool (alongside him). I can be hands free of him and know he will stay above water, though he does flip around from front to back and occasionally his mouth goes in water. The default floating position is on his back, facing the sky, which is comforting to a parent while the child is learning to swim. With time, he's learned to pull his legs down, to use arms to right or rotate himself, and to balance when waves are around us.This is perfect for the infant who is ready for some independence in the water but needs a trustworthy floatation device that can grow with him or her.

I bought this floaty because it makes me feel safer having a bottom strap underneath of them. The size is right. The design is very cute. My daughter loves it.

This is such an excellent product. I am soo happy with my choice. There are 2 straps that go across the back for extra security. The straps and material do not irritate my 3 yr old toddler. There is extra material at the shoulders like a tank top. This floatie holds my kid up and allows him to tread in the water. We switched from a very secure floatie tube to this product. It was just time lol... The straps are ok to adjust(does not easily slip), they are secure. I like how I can buckle this floaie up to be compact for easy storage when it is dry and not in use. We love this product. It is super awesome, you should get this too!

This is cute and my daughter loves it. However the straps don't stay tight and slip when on and secured. I was able to tie them. and make it work. my daughter is 22 pounds so on the small side and despite this saying it goes down to her weight it is still on the big side.Over all it is a great floaty It put my daughter in a good swimming position and she loves having some independence in the water.This is a great toy and not a life jacketFor us it is a great toy for enjoying the water getting comfortable in the water & being ‘independent’ in the water (adult always in arms reach but don’t always have to touch)

Flexible, durable, fits well for my grandson's size, and it allows him to move and have fun while he's swimming.

Nice a little big but it worked my 1 year old jumped in no problem and in an out she went.

Super easy to use. Good quality. Little man seemed comfortable. Have used heavily this summer and it is not wearing out at all. Worth the money.

It’s cute and fits well but it’s poorly made and doesn’t last long.I have four different swimming vests and this one fell apart quite quick. All of the stitches are very weak, the over shoulder part tore off the flow tie around chest on all four spots.
