I got this because I wanted a plain black messenger bag for my laptop for work. My employers provided one that was not only ugly as all get out but also was simply too roomy for my basic needs. I need to carry a laptop (a big heavy one that I hate but it's a work horse), my work and personal cell phones, a small padfolio and my water bottle. I want the water bottle (or leak-proof travel mug) to be kept outside the main compartment in case a leak happens.I also want a shoulder strap but also handles when my neck and shoulder gets weary after a long day.This is awesome because it's not heavy. My current bag is almost as heavy as my actual laptop! Ugh.This is super light, yet feels sturdy enough to contain those few key items I need for my daily purposes. If I should need to transport more, I've got a nice rolling one that is black quilted, and matches fine.I love that this includes the little accesory bag. I can either use it for personal care items and some headache medicine, or I can keep my mouse and other needed items.The stitching seems good and consistent, no signs of bad tension between the top and bottom.The thread seems to be appropriately heavy for the job.So far, after a week using it, I have no complaints.I like that it's easy to wipe clean. I had to put it on the floor of my backseat and didn't realize the last passenger had left some mud on it that morning. The bag wiped clean so easily, using only a wet drive-through napkin.I added a pom charm to it, for fun. It looks cute.

This bag doesn't look like it can hold much, but wow can I fit a whole lot of stuff in it. I had my oversized laptop, iPad, over ear headphones, a book, a steno sized note book, power bank, and all kind of other items in this bag with plenty of room to zip it up. My only complaint, actually more of a gripe, is that because of it's style if you have only your laptop in it it does fall over such that the laptop blocks the area where you would put your other items. Overall, this is not a huge deal, just more of a pain in the rear if you don't have much in the bag with your laptop.

This bag is soooo soft! It's quite stylish and fits my laptop, my tablet, and a couple notebooks/folders, as well as a bunch of smaller accessories. Very nice bag for taking into the office. And the outside is sooooo soft! I just love touching it!

It will hold up to a 16-inch laptop with ease. You can carry it like a brief case or over your shoulder with the supplied straps. There is room in it for other things, paper and documents, pens, mouse cords etc. Very nice and professional looking.

So far I think this bag is awesome! Durability question will come later, after a few trips, but so far so good! I especially like that there is room it it for everything I need and more :). The whole bag is so cushiony - I don't worry at all about my laptop or tablet while they are in it. Yet to use it while traveling, but pretty much think it will be great. Will update!
