iGPSPORT Heart Rate Monitor Bluetooth & ANT+ for Fitness Training Running Cycling Gym and Compatible with Garmin Polar Wahoo

Awesome monitor. Does what it needs to do without fail. Also it's pretty capable. I connected it to both my Strava app on my phone at the same time it was transmitting to my bike computer. It was solid and stable for both connections.

I just bought my second one. I first bought it in June 2019 and I used it almost daily. It almost lasted 3 years. Prior to purchasing my first one, I purchased the Scosche Rhythm+ on Nov 2017 and it went kaput in May 2018. My second Scosche Rhythm+ lasted until June 2019. After almost daily use of the IGSPORT and getting nearly 3 years of use at almost 1/2 the cost of Scosche, it’s a no brainer. Also, I use the Wahoo Fitness tracker app, it allows me to track my spin bike cadence and IGSPORT HR using the exercise bike feature.

i bought this one expecting to work with my iGPsport bike computer. No, it does not work neither with IGPS nor with cycplus. they can not detect the existence of this monitor

For the price I really got it as an emergency spare when my previous HR monitor strap stopped working or I should say would work intermittently. I was going on a long ride and always ride with a HR monitor. It really helps me figure out many things and most importantly let me know when I am going to hard because I feel good or understand why the ride feels so hard but my pace is not reflecting that. Anyway I have used this enough without it failing with one exception. It was a a 4 or 5 hour ride in the rain and after a few hours the HR was not being recorded on my bike computer. It was more of a fun ride where the pace was easy so the next day I just did not even bother using it. Back at home I figured I would try it out after replacing the battery and making sure it was attached properly. Well it never failed again. I do not think it was the battery that died and probably was caused by the water perhaps something getting into it or affecting the contacts. not sure and it has not happened since. My other monitor was not working right and I replaced the strap and it seemed like that was the point of failure. I got thins one because I needed something right away and was not sure about the one I had so I went as low in cost figuring I only needed a few days of use and every thing after that would be as they say gravy. I will not be doing much riding outside and certainly am not going to do a long ride in the rain until the spring. But if you are on a budget this could be your answer. Oh I also have a garmin strap and monitor that does not want to work and changing the battery is a joke and they cost so much more. The wahoo is the one that failed at the worst time but I do think that the straps wear out at some point and simply changing that fixed my issue before.
