Blast from the Past!
I'm someone that wants to get the perfect item for the situation. I looked at getting a radio, but then realized sometimes I get tired of the radio and switch to playing music off my phone. So i had a unique situation. I wanted a radio, cassette player, and Bluetooth all in one. Well this little guy fit the bill perfectly. I just like the low-quality sound of a tape. Call me old school but the muffled music playing in the background at work is perfect background music. I need to start a tape collection now :)

Does the job! My wife is happy with this device! Kind of retro with the cassette player/ recorder!

Decent value - I’ll give it a 4, because …
The audio quality is mediocre at worst. It has mixed controls, both switches and thumb wheel controls, which is fine. The receivers are very good as most all modern radios. I have not noticed a light for stereo and only assume that it is on FM radio, but it may not as it sounds mono perhaps because the speakers are so close together. I believe this unit is above average for its cost, and I would recommend it and purchase again.

Main purpose was to convert cassette audio to mp3
I recorded music many years ago and mixed down on cassettes. Now I am trying to access them, convert to digital, then do some minor remixes. I am still trying it out but have noticed a few things. One is the Fast Forward and Fast Rewind Buttons are switched relative to the name of the buttons. My recollection is that << refers to Fast Rewind and >> refers to fast Forward. They are opposite on this recorder. This could create some confusion. I have also noticed some issues with handling the lower bass frequencies - at least it is apparent in the mp3 files when listened on another device.I am back again after trying it a few times. I had a few more problems with it that went beyond minor aggravations. Every once in a while it would lose a beat or fraction of a second out of the transfer to USB. Another is there was a noticeable distortion especially with the lower bass frequencies. There is no way to adjust the signal strength on its way to the USB drive. One more thing I ran into was that even though I would press record well before the song started, it would sometimes cut off a small part of the first note. In the case where it was a music with a fade at the end or a live recording where I wanted to get the ambient crowd sound, the deck would sometimes cut off the actual recording or transfer before I pressed it to stop. For me, this deck is not usable.
