Excellent air drop printer
I love this printer. I did a lot of online research, and talked with friends and colleagues to get recommendations for a good AirDrop printer. Recommendations were hard to come by. I have an Epson workforce 630 that I bought a number of years ago, which has been very reliable. So I decided to try this one, and I am completely satisfied. Set up is easy, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I love printing from my phone, iPad, and other devices via Wi-Fi. I also have it wired to a business laptop, and it functions well there also. I have only a small complaint and that is the touchscreen is small, and the icons are not particularly intuitively design. But that’s not a big deal since I rarely the touchscreen. I highly recommend this AirDrop printer.

Simplicity
So simple to set up and everything works great. Only problem is that if one ink cartridge runs out it doesn’t print. Regardless, five stars.

Easy to use - performs when needed
This was easy to set up and the touch screen is also very easy to use. It's connected to my wifi network and I'm able to print directly from my android phone over wifi - that makes things so much easier, and I love that feature and use it often. The print quality may be a little less than my old canon that broke but it's good enough and it's faster. It also is a bit large with desktop space but that's ok with me. Overall I'm very happy with the printer - it was affordable, has lot of functionality, and it meets my needs at home.

Printer Turns Into a Brick with Firmware Update
How do you rate a product with zero stars? I have to be honest. The printer was working perfectly and the print quality was actually quite good - both with Epson and non-Epson brand ink cartridges. The touch screen is functional but a little small. You have to be pretty accurate when making selections on the screen. It is nice that the panel folds out for better visibility of all the menu items. Why should it get zero stars - because at the end of the day, a simple firmware update turned my previously 100% operable printer into a brick. The update (which I would rather call malicious software code from Epson) identified previously working ink cartridges as unrecognizable. So, if you are in the market for a printer, stay away from this model and this brand. Epson customer service was no service at all. Their solution (in their words).."Go buy genuine Epson cartridges and your printer will work again." Could it get any more blatant? In effect, what they are saying is, "We are going to install software code into your printer without warning that will make whatever you are using stop working unless you purchase more stuff from us." Stay far away from this company. I will never buy an Epson product again and will encourage everyone I know to stay away as well.Update 10/11/2019The printer manufacturer replied to my review justifying their malicious firmware code by saying Epson printers are only designed to work with Epson ink. To give a further indication about how Epson treats its customers and pays no attention to detail, the reply did not even have the model of the printer correct. Is this the kind of company you want to support with your purchase? Buyer beware - you may be buying a product in which you will be VERY dissatisfied. Stay away from Epson.

Pain-free Set Up
We needed a small printer with only occasional use for a cottage. Tried another brand (HP) and was never able to pair it with the laptop thru the wi-fi. Set-up required a phone app which quickly defeated us. The Epson fits the bill and was remarkably easy to set up for wi-fi. The instruction panels were maybe the best I've ever seen, masterpieces in their category, whatever that is. It is a basic machine without frills but seems to print, copy and scan well. This 2860 for us will be the little brother of the 3620 at home.

Ink 4 pack set with printer junk
Not happy ! This printer is crap ! Always have missing parts on the printer page I was wanting to copy and lines running thru it. I absolutely would not buy this again. So now I can’t exchange it or send it back because I kept trying to work with it ! Not happy at all !

Not the same Epson
I've owned Epson printers a couple times over the past 15 years and was happy to have them. This model is a bit too cheap. The print quality is fine for basic jobs, but noticably insufficient for high quality work. The paper feeder is very temperamental. Unless the paper being scanned is in perfect condition and the precise pound rating, it'll jam.
