We previously had over many years an externally mounted tungsten 1000w floodlight in our garden, the bulb of which which used to last around a year or so. For whatever reason 1000w tungsten replacement lights quickly became unavailable so I removed that and fitted a new 500w tungsten light in its place instead. That light kept failing (several times in fact) and so I just gave up. Having to keep getting out the heavy ladder etc etc to replace a 500w tungsten bulb just became a chore. However recently I came across this LED floodlight which is rated at 300w (in old money that is 600w incandescent according to the spec,) so I thought that for one last time I would once more bring out my double 12ft ladder and I would mount it. It was to be once again positioned at high level to flood the rear garden area. That said I completely removed the old tungsten floodlight and replaced it with this new LED version. Well its bright. Really does the business and as bright as my old 1000w light for sure. As for longevity ?? ... well I won’t know for some time. Its stated at 50,000 hrs. That would be some 5.7 years if permanently left on !! No I don’t think so! Very easy to fix using 2x50mm screws. Not to heavy at 1677g (3.7lbs) either and very responsive to our light on/off switch. Yes well pleased with the unit and its overall size of approx 33x24cm or 13x9.5” inches. If it fails then for sure I shall re-post at the appropriate time. At the moment I would say that its a thumbs up from me. All IMHO of course.

Easily connected very very bright the quality is good an the perfect size bought one for the front garden an one for the back very easy to use

Nice and bright but should be for 2 lights the only quibble I have, when it lights up it puts out like a circle of light very strange when it's a square light.Very close to returning because of it but I'm useing them just for a flood light standPrice is cheap

This product does not work, it stops working in less than a year. I have had 2 stop working and on the first one, they replaced it and now I asked for a replacement on the replacement as that stopped working and they have said they don't sell them anymore.

Very bright. Excellent value for money. Easy to install. Works brilliant.

I bought three of these for my back garden to replace three other allegedly waterproof exterior lights , So far they have performed well, they don't seem to attract internal condensation which killed the previous ones. Although they are only 50 Watts they punch well above their wight and provide a bright and even spread of light.
