We bought this to make our own pho broth, as what we found at the Asian market had a lot of sodium. I used 1 Tbsp of spice in a tea ball and added it to 1 qt premade (homemade that I canned) broth and simmered for an hour. I read if you cook too long the herbs can make things bitter. An hour seemed just right. Then took the tea ball out and discarded the spices. So easy and so good!

Love it my house smells so good, for pho you only need to keep it in the little sachet 10 to 15 minutes.

I used this to make some home made pho. I did read the other review about it being opened when they received their package, but I took a chance and mine was just fine. Very convenient since its a variety of spices already all in one bag. Helped me make delicious pho in the comfort of my home.
