This Roll mill is prefect for jewelry making needs. It does the job and is more than capable of making you anything you need for making jewelry. The sheets you can create are indeed 0.01 to 0.02 and is thin enough to bend but thick enough to still make jewelry that lasts. The roll mill itself came packed up nicely in styro-foam and works perfectly, no loose or rattling parts. In the images above I have created two gold blanks of two different lengths but both are as thin as the roll mill allows. The small blank is made from the little bead of gold in the image with the ring blank on my hand. This machine will take some time to get use to working the metal through it. Yes it is as simple as running it through but taking your time and using it to mold metal and learning the different ways to pass it through will yield better results than just rolling it through and flattening it. That can and will cause splitting of your metal. All in all I highly recommend this mill machine for the price and if you do get it i am willing to bet you hear the level up noise like i did. Great buy I am happy with it.

This is a wonderful piece for the price! It is not perfect but is still wonderful for flattening soft metals.
