Having spent quite a bit of time in my retirement studying products that could slow down the ageing process, I was naturally keen to give this a go!The manufacturer makes some bold claims like..........*"PROVIDES CELLULAR ENERGY. by stimulating energy production in the body, a vital component of the Kreb’s cycle – the process that creates energy from food.*INDUCES AUTOPHAGY. Ca-AKG facilitates removal of dysfunctional cells, cell parts. Autophagy tends to decrease with age.*BONE & MUSCLE SUPPORT. Ca-AKG is also a source of the essential amino acids needed to make collagen, which could help bone and muscle health.If you look this up there are other possible anti ageing effects too, so being a UK brand and also vegan (vital for me) i am looking forward to seeing how it could effect me over the coming weeks.With the dose being 2 capsules a day this is a 1 month supply so at £21 a bottle could work out a little pricy if it fails to deliver as suggested.I will update this review once i can establish any noticeable changes but it is still early days. With no taste easy to take and swallow and no bad effects so far happy to rate as a 4 * supplement until a full review later of outcome....

These Ca-AKG capsules are just the right size, they are easy to swallow and the capsule does a good job of sealing the powders to prevent any residue escaping and causing bad odours or tastes.The capsules are high quality and the ingredients list is mainly clean. The composition of the capsules is high strength.At 60 capsules, it should last two months. The tub is high quality plastic and seals well to keep the capsules from spoiling.

I use this brand a lot but The product arrived open letting the air ruin the product so I'm not happy it used to come in a resealable packet now it’s in a jar with poor quality seal.

A daily intake of 300 mg to 2,000 mg of Ca-AKG is recommended for most adults, so these sit in the middle if you take 1 or 2 a day (it recommends 2).It's obviously difficult to be sure how much of a difference they make, as you are not able to rewind your life and start again without taking them. I have noticed no adverse side effects so far and they are easy to swallow. Certainly one I will keep taking at least for a few months to see if I feel the benefits.

I'm hoping they will be.Unfortunately, Amazon's rules state that we cannot actually talk about the effectiveness of supplements or medication, so all I can really say is that the capsules are easy to swallow, and that I have experienced no ill effects due to taking them.The bottle contains 60 two-a-day capsules, which works out to around 73p per day.Assuming they do their job, I regard this as good value, and commensurate with what I would expect to pay on the high street.
