I went to the hardware store and they didn’t know how to get a portable a/c to fir a crank out or casement window, but this did the trick! It was easy to install and great at keeping air in and the room cool. The material is a high quality cloth and not a cheap plastic. I Highly recommended it!

It is very difficult to work with and will never produce a really good seal against bugs and outside elements. I ended up throwing it away and created a custom insert that could be placed in the window frame instead.

This does the trick, but was tricky to get into place. Once it’s in, though, it held well and helped us cool the house with the portable AC machine.

Bought this to use with my portable a/c in a bedroom with casement windows. Cleaned the windows as recommended, attached the item in 15 minutes. Been over a month, still going strong despite a few major downpours. Worth it.

It does the job but doesn’t look as clean as it does in the photos. Probably a need to buy every year solution if you live in states with summer and winters. Rain sits on top and getting full blockage from outside isn’t easy, so you might get insects that find their way in the gaps.

I had a portable air conditioner for my room because my crank window wouldn't allow a window unit. Fortunately, this cover fixed my ability to use mine effectively!Note: It's really easy to have holes in the corners of the sticky velcro, I recommend stuffing wads of cotton into them to keep bugs from entering.

Flimsy, felt like it was causing more heat transfer from outside than it was helping on the inside, I am sorry I bought it and I’m returning it. I had to go through a lot of contortions to find an adequate replacement, but this was definitely not the right place to start.

I was so happy to find this Loviga window seal kit! I can now vent my xTool laser through my casement windows without letting in an army of cicadas. It is easy to install. The zipper gives you access to position the vent during installation, and the green self-stick tie down holds it firmly in place. I love that it is easy to open and close the window. In the first picture, you can see that the sleeve around the vent has enough play so that you can gently pull the hose back and shut the window with no hassle. That is a key feature for me! I I do need to close the window slightly when the hose is in use so that the window frame helps to secure it. Otherwise, the Velcro on the hose seal kit pulls away from the window frame and smoke can leak into the house. The adhesive on the Velcro is ok, but not strong enough to hold any weight. If you have wooden window frames, I suggest using finishing nails or tacks to secure the Velcro to the wood. I may also tape over the edge of the Velcro to create a better seal. My only concern is that the material is very thin. This would be a 5 star product if the material was a little thicker and sturdier. As it is, I don't think the seal will do much to keep the heat out during the summer in North Carolina. It is not air-tight. But, since I only use it when running my laser and the bugs are my biggest concern, I am happy with the product!
