Fantastic resource
At the beginning of lockdown I found myself in a new house with a three year old. For the next three months I ate too much, she watched too much telly and for ten minutes every day we worked our way through this book. She read her first sentence within two months and she will be going to school being able to sight read quite a lot of common words and being able to comfortably sound out others. The instructions for the adult are really good, the activities were engaging and while there is some use of American terminology we worked everything out in the end.I can't think of a better gift to give someone than the ability to read and this book allowed me to do that for the most important person in my life (although if we are honest she would have probably have preferred chocolate). Brilliant resource.

Good
It's not amazing but it is good. I got it for my son to do over the Christmas hoildays to help him improve, as I was a bit lost on how to help him, And thankful my son loves it.tho he has not finished it all yet his reading had already improved. I was worried it was a bit basic at the start but flying through some of it only improve his confidence. It has fun activities for each step and a good lay, its easy to fallow and a good over all quality.Tho only thing I found to be a tiny bit of a hidares was the Americanisums, witch ment some of the tasks like the image to word match up would not have made sense useing the English names but they were very miner and easy to change and very few of them so far.So over all I would definitely recommend this good, it's been really lovely watching him be so keen and excited to engage in his reading.

Great workbook
I homeschool my 4 year old son and I'm not really a workbook person because we both prefer hands on physical activities however this was a hit. Short lessons which are engaging and progression to blending is gradual. Includes review sections too which is handy. Definitely a good supplement to other learning resources.

Well structured to help my boy learn and read.
Good structure and easy to follow step-by-step approach.

Teaches children how to read and tells adults how to teach!
We are only a few lessons in but I am so delighted with this book! Our 4 year old daughter has been really reluctant to learn how to read and we've really struggled to get her engaged with learning literacy, probably because we weren't making it fun enough. This book has changed that completely! She has been asking to play with the book, instead of us asking her and has grasped all the lessons so we'll.This book not only teaches children to read, but also adults how to teach them!

The best book ever!
The best book ever! Don't think twice, just order! My 5 year old son would never sit down to study and we tried alot of techniques. This book has done the job, now all day every day all he wants to do is study this book. I wish I found this book sooner. Its so much fun!

Great so far
We’re only on lesson 10 but my 4yo (nursery) daughter has really taken to the book and even brings it to me as her chosen activity. Well laid out, not overly complicated, and the teaching is given verbatim, to read out loud to your child, so you have less chance of confusing the pupil!

Key pre-school workbook
Bought for my 4 year old nephew while my niece was helping him with extra support during lockdown, she told me easy to use and he seemed to enjoy them whilst also stretching him.
