granddaughter loves it

I bought 2 of these for my granddaughters. They loved them, old school but something different than easy bake oven.

The product itself is worth 5 stars (assuming it lasts).The lost star is because I ordered the purple one for my wife because she wanted the set of plates advertised with it. Apparently somewhere along the lines someone grabbed the wrong box and shipped us a red one with a different set of plates.Initially I was going to return it and have the correct one shipped because I could have gotten the red one with those plates cheaper but the wife was happy with the set of plates she got so I let it slide.

I was hesitant to buy, as complaints were that it wasn't hot enough, and the description said 240 watts, whereas the others listed had 350 watts. It was in a dusty box, but 350 watts and all the attachments plus storage container for them. I just let it go until steaming stops, and make sure light isn't on when I unplug. Makes great chaffles.

I got two regular plates. No clover or bunny plates.

We have used dash waffle makers for years, but decided to replace them so we could have shapes! We love that they go in the dishwasher and cook exactly the same as the old ones did.

This costs twice as much as the set made and sold by the Dash company. I decided to go ahead and purchase it because the set is not available on the Dash website. However, I was sent the wrong item.Yes, it falls on my shoulders for using it before verifying it was right, but I ordered one set from Dash and one from this seller. I made an assumption and now I have two of the same sets. And worse... I can't return the more expensive one because I used it. So frustrated with myself.The waffle maker worked great. I enjoy the fact the plates can be removed and easily washed.I caution anyone against buying from this site...I chose to pay extra for a product I didnt receive.

I love this waffle maker i really do, but the first time i used it the outside paint started to bubble because it gets so hot.. and when i emailed support they did nothing about it at all!
