Remanufactured , discovered a 17 year old component inside! Only lasted 5 months!
Worked as expected…..for 5 months. When it stoped working, I tested the output and there was no voltage coming out. I ordered a new one but decided to open it up and look for a bad solder joint. I was very surprised to see lots of corrosion on the metal parts. Looks like it was exposed to salt water. Then I noticed a date stamp on the large green board “FEB.08’05”. A 17 year old component! Then I noticed where the two leads are connected to the board, they are soldered to the pin side , opposite of where the original white, red, and black leads were snipped off.This is obviously a poorly “remanufactured” item.
