We did this as a small group women Bible study. It was very insightful. There was quite bit of background information from old and new testament concentrating on the Tabernacle. The leaders of our group lead us into extra study to share with the group on the places the Isrealites went, and where the ark of the covenant finally ends up. Beth Moore studies really help you to understand the historical perspective as well as how the Old Testament is a foreshadowing of Jesus and who He is.The video that accompanies the study was just as insightful. Well, here is another breathtaking journey in to the heart of our great and mighty, affectionate and passionate God. Just completed this with a group of seven, five of whom had never taken the journey Beth (through the Holy Spirit) can launch you on. The tabernacle in the wilderness, the precise details of all to be made, the obedience and disobedience of God's people, the desire of His heart, and then the fulfillment in the Wounded One, the only Son, our Bridegroom, was a cupid's arrow in the heart. From Genesis to Revelation, the Garden to the New Jerusalem, the purpose and desire of Father has always been the same, to live amongst His people and Jesus, with His bride, us who host the Holy Spirit within us.This is devastatingly revealing and every one of us fell more in love with the One who loved us and washed us in His own blood. This is holy so take off your sandals girls! It's worth it!

I grew up being told that I must understand the Old Testament sanctuary because it would help me to understand Christ's salvation for me. Oh, it does, but no one EVER helped me do more than memorize where all the furniture and how many animals were killed.This Bible study by Beth Moore has opened my eyes to amazing insights that have always been tucked into God's Word, I just never knew. You will discover, as she skillfully weaves together the Old Testament and New, that God's deepest desire is to have a relationship with us. He longs to dwell within us. He doesn't miss any opportunity - and in every detail - His desire and purposes shout out. We have to wonder, "how did those desert wanderers not 'get' it?" The question really is, do I?You won't be sorry you wandered into this study - - in fact if you did, you didn't just come upon it, God lead you here.Praise God for dwelling in Beth Moore.

This is one of the best Bible studies I've done. Beth Moore does an incredible job of teaching about the Old Testament tabernacle, revealing the significance of each element, tying it together with the coming of Christ and the New Testament, and applying it to today's Christians who are seeking to walk more closely to Christ and know Him more deeply. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this study is. I would highly recommend it! It does demand a significant amount of time on the part of the student each week, and the homework is absolutely vital... and totally worth it! The videos that go along with this study are about 1 hour each week, so it is best to have about 2 hours to meet together as a group in order to have adequate discussion time.

This is a great study if you are looking to jump into the bible. I have never read the whole bible, and I was only saved last year and so this is one of the first times I have started to really learn about God and his word. Same goes for a few of the gals I did the study with! It is great! It gives you so much information and it seriously is a great study for wherever you are at in you are at in your walk with Him. In my group I have a few women who have walked with God a long time and are very knowledgeable in His word, a few who haven't really opened their bibles yet, and a few who have been walking for a few years. The variety of women helps our discussion tremendously! Great Great Great Study!

Our small group is doing this study, and learning much. My area of concern is the used books of the older versions, different covers. I got two older ones each with a different cover, and neither will go along with this updated one. She has left out many stories of Michael, her son so it is completely re-vamped.So if ordering for a group, do buy the updated one. Don't find out like I did, that the 'bargain' ended up being mostly a waste. I can give these older books to charity but wish I knew this ahead of time.

One of the best bible studies I have ever done. She doesn't ask the typical questions that most studies ask. Her questions are more thought and faith provoking. You can see God's hand all throughout this study. Highly recommend it.
