Do Not Fit 1/2" Poly Line
The description as well as the package states that these will fit 1/2 inch line as well as a little over 1/2 inch O.D. Not even close. The 1/2 inch black poly line we bought these for was much too large for the fitting. Will be returning.

Did not fit
Similar to other reviewers, this did not fit the hoses that I assume were purchased at a big box hardware store. I had to go to a regional sprinkler specific store to find a fitting that worked. In the end, the part that worked fit inside the hose and was held on by two hose clamps.

didn't fit
The product looks fine, but the description should have been more clear - did not fit my landscaping system, which is comprised of basic flexible tubing bought from Home Depot. Not sure what kind of tubing this is designed for, but I wish they could have done a better job describing it.
