Works great!
I love this thing. Other Smoke machines tend to be overkill for my needs. This one is perfect. Easy to use. Lots of control. Beautiful effects.

Just purchase it!
After taking my first photo I fell in love with the Snoke Ninja! I have been doing research and reading all reviews for the until. I finally made the investment and I have been very pleased. It provides sufficient smoke, dry, ice, steam, fog. For any product of Photography it does not overheat the liquid last very long I have only used. I would say a dropper too to create 15 to 20 images to make a selection very easy to set up at to put away compact very clean liquid the residue circled around a glass bottle and it came right off on our formica table. It does not smell and very easy to wipe off even if it was to touch your hands my fire alarms have not gone off yet and I have utilized it quite a bit inside a small, and confined space. Overall, if you want your product Photography to improve dramatically the PMI smoke ninja is the way to go.

Great for photo enhancements
Easy to use and it feels like a high quality tool. Lots of cool smoke options. There is definitely a learning curve with it, since depending on the photo you may want different smoke effects. For general haze it seems a little goes a long way. Happy to have it as part of my photo kit!

Unreliable product from an unresponsive company
The Smoke Ninja worked ok the first couple tries I used it, producing excellent smoke and a really impressive dry ice function. However, after using it twice, it no longer turns on. The device indicates an error when it's plugged in, even though I've confirmed the battery is good via other chargers. When not plugged in, two indicator lights remain on, but that's all that happens. After attempting to contact the company via chat and email, I have yet to receive a response after two weeks. The two year warranty is about as useful as the piece of paper it's written on it appears.

GREAT… if you don’t get a lemon
I was looking for a portable, handheld, wireless fogger for theatrical performance purposes. This item came highly recommended and everything I had read about it was fantastic. Unfortunately, I think I was sent a lemon. We had problems with the remote after only two uses and we also had problems with the removable top piece that is supposed to go on and off to put the canister with the fog juice in. However, the seller and Amazon were very quick to offer a replacement. I was assured the replacement would come within 24 hours; with opening night only a few days away, I was banking on it. IT TOOK A WEEK to get the replacement! I do not believe the shipping error was the fault of the seller but more so Amazon. That aside, however, the replacement that I got has thus far been fantastic and lived up to all of the expectations I had based on the solid reviews. I will report back though if we have any further problems with the second one. But thus far, I am satisfied and the smoke ninja name is living up to all of the glory which I had read about.

Best Smoke Machine
This was worth the buy. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to hide in my shots. It produces lots of smoke and doesn't make a mess like other fog machines.

Almost ideal
So I bought my Smoke Ninja 2 months ago and have used it about 2-3 times per week during photo shoots that each lasted about 4 hours. Obviously I wasn’t blasting the smoke that entire time, so to give a bit better context I’d say I used about 1 full tank/chamber’s worth of fog juice each session. I bought several additional bottles of juice as well as a 4-pack of additional rechargeable batteries to swap out. So in 2 months I’ve gone thru a little less than 2 full bottles of fog juice which is actually pleasantly surprising…but in the same time, the original battery AND all 4 additional batteries have either ceased to hold charge, or else the unit itself is giving out. Because I’ll insert a battery fresh from the charger and power up the smoke ninja, and the little indicator light near the bottom never shows green anymore, it’s either yellow or red. And then I’ll press the trigger button & it’ll only fire for like 8-12 seconds before giving the red flashing lights and promptly turning itself off. Also every time I use it there’s a distinct smell that wasn’t there in the beginning. It’s not necessarily a bad smell or acrid…it’s just sort of that old vape smell. Compared to there being NO discernible smell in the first few weeks of use. So I’m a bit bummed about the possibility of the unit dying because it wasn’t cheap and I hardly would describe the amount of use I put it through as being “over-use”. That being said, I have to say I’m very pleased with the level of it’s performance when it WAS working properly. The density of the smoke is perfect and lingers in the air realistically. In the Dry Ice mode, the smoke truly does fall to the ground and roll around in a cloud down there which was fantastic for a few of my shoots, the unit itself never becomes hot to the touch, so I never felt at risk of burning myself or others. Also the included remote & the fact that you don’t have to manually pair it to the unit has been glorious. I love the hardshell carrying case that holds it & all the attachments safely in 1 place. So to summarize, it would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that I have no way of knowing whether the unit itself is giving out, or whether the batteries are all defective, or maybe whether the chamber/heating coil just needs to be replaced.
