Absolutely Obsessed - 3 Stars for Missing Piece
The media could not be loaded. Update 3/4/25 : I was able to get a full replacement even though I only needed 1 screw piece. It was a longer wait for delivery for the replacement than the original i received.I'm still happy with the comfort of the cushion and refer you to all i said below. This time around i have all the screws so I can adjust and tighten the screws so the headrest is at different heights / angles and I'm glad that now i get to experience this! They even sent an Allen wrench with this order which i didn't receive prior! I'm glad i stuck around to get the replacement and am happy to have this on my chair. It saves me from buying a pricey replacement for my old but decent chair ( which i was considering again while waiting for this to arrive ) but it's finally here and I'm excited to use it!__________Better than expected and so glad i ordered! No complaints whatsoever! (uh oh- stay to the end)I thought this would be the same as the cheap neck pillows you grab at the airport, where the foam is dense and kind of rigid, but I didn't really care since it's just my work seat. I am so pleasantly surprised! It's insanely soft and squishy and cups my head so gently. There's this track pulley thing where you can slide it back and forth, with a little twist to lock the headrest in place.REALTIME UPDATE : this isn't a track exactly, it's 3 poles with holes that should have a twisting mechanism to tighten together with a bolt through the center. My headrest is missing this secondary bolt, so i can't lock it into place and it's currently sliding around or the headrest can fall right off. I can only upload 1 video, so I'll show pictures of the area with the missing piece. It was easy to screw this onto the back of my chair, no tools needed and no assembly of the headrest was required. I took it straight out of the box, and screwed it onto my seat and it clamped itself tightly.I still highly recommend this, if yours comes with all the appropriate pieces, because it's super comfortable!I just hope the sellers are responsive to give me that missing piece.3 stars until the missing piece is sent, then bumping up to 5 once received!

Very good
Not bad, the arm is made of metal so you can really crank on the screws with the provided allen (hex) key. As long as your not putting the weight if your entire body on it, it will stay in place. I have 2 minor gripes.1, branding. I'd prefer it to be straight black with no brand names.2 the handle sticks out nearly 4 inches from the back of the chair.

Secret to keep it in place - hidden knobs
This us exactly what I was looking for! I tried buying a chair with a headrest and it does not compare. I was worried from the reviews saying it's not stable and doesn't hold, but there is a reason. There's actually smaller knobs on the sides to tighten it from moving!!!!! Keep thus in mind. So there is three knobs to adjust! Excellent headrest, and also the chair I use thus on is a small chair, the one that has an X on it in the images above, yet it works great!

Plushy, but if it won't stay in place, it's not much of a headrest
Well... it's soft. The pillow portion was apparently designed with some knowledge of ergonomics, as it cradles the head/neck pretty well and is comfortable. If only I could say that about the rest of the headrest. The movable arm that connects the pillow to the chair has the strength and stability to support, say, a squirrel's head, not a full-grown human's. Leaning against the headrest will push it backward and cause it to wobble wildly, until it eventually pops off the chair... making it quite useless and potentially a hazard. There are several design flaws causing this problem. Firstly, there is only one anchoring point that keeps the headrest affixed to the chair. Secondly, that anchor point is not very strong (it's a one-sided clamp, no screws, no bolts...) so it slips around easily. Finally, the adjustable portions of the headrest are not solid. They don't stay in place, even with use of the included wrench. You know what you call a headrest on the floor? A pillow. So I might just embrace that, unscrew the pillow from the headrest, and use it separately. It's not much good for my office chair needs. Oh well.

Doesn't Stay in Place
While the clamp is effective and keeps the headrest from moving side to side, the other knobs do not provide enough tension to stop the headrest from moving backwards whenever you rest your head against it. Even with the knobs fully tightened, the cushion continued to shift backwards beyond the back of the chair, providing zero support for your neck.

Headrest
Purchased this to put on my Humanscale Leap v2 chair. It fits perfectly on the back of the chair. Provides good amount of cushion and is comfortable to use.

Good adjustability and stability, but thumbscrew sticks out way too far in the back.
Fits well on my office chair, which is the mesh type. However, the thumbscrew for the clamp sticks out really far. On my chair, it sticks out 2-1/2" past the bracket in the back. My chair back is about 1" thick. I may return it for that reason, as I'm afraid of people getting caught or scratched on the thumb screw walking past the chair. I'm not sure why they made the screw that long.On the positive side .. no problems with the clamp staying on. Has the right amount of support + adjustability after tightening everything. Comes with an Allen wrench so you can go crazy tightening the hinges in place if you're more decisive about positioning than I am. (I'm not sure everyone who said their headrests don't stay in position well enough tried tightening with the Allen wrench.)I do like the adjustability. My chair originally came with a headrest, which I finally had to remove because it was hitting me in the wrong place and pushing my head and neck forward. But, I missed the support for long work and zoom sessions. This one works because I can position it for my height, and I can readjust it when I change chair positions. Too bad that long thumbscrew in the back is such a problem! I'd replace just the screw if I could, but it seems to be built into the clamp.
