What a relief!
I purchased this Red light pad in hopes of getting some relief from very painful sciatica that I've been struggling with for months. This did not disappoint! My first session was 10 minutes of red light and infrared. I didn't want to get too excited in case it was a placebo effect, but I felt some immediate relief. The next morning I repeated that. I went on with my day and felt at least 50% less pain. I didn't need any otc pain meds and haven't taken anything since. Later that night, I did a 20 minute session. I used it twice a day for the first week. As time permitted, I followed the static light session with 10 minutes of the pulse feature. I am now using the RL + IR therapy 2ce a day every other day and I feel wonderful. This is such an incredible technology and I am so grateful I found it. The size is perfect for me. It covers my lower back just fine, but I'm a woman of smaller stature. It's rechargeable which makes it portable. However, there is no low battery warning. It takes about 2 hours to charge so it's good to make sure it's charged up if you're looking forward to a nice relaxing session. I think I have charged it twice in two weeks. It's very well made. The remote holds to the belt with magnetic snaps. At first I was concerned how I would lean back against the belt on my sofa without screwing up the settings on the remote because it is literally attached to the back side of the pad. But there's a side button that locks the touch screen of the remote so you don't accidentally change anything while you're relaxing. It also has a little pocket so you can store the remote and the charging cord. I'm so happy with this purchase. I'm hoping they create a neck version.

Great value and alternative to a more costly and larger space taking option
I love that this covers my whole body, front and back and face. If you start it and let it warm up it's more comfortable to get in (slightly heated). This is a great value and alternative to a more costly sauna (and takes up a smaller space). It has helped me post surgery and overall pai relief.

Control unit defects.
I bought one of these and it arrived broken. It would not turn on. Got a new one and it worked for about 3 uses now it won’t turn on just reads Off. I am so sad.

Good for joints
It’s a nice size to use for my knees and my back easy to charge because you can take the charge part off and then snap it back on, but you have to be careful that when you’re using it that the part that controls the time and the level you want doesn’t fall off.

**Horse Owners** check this out!
Horse Owners!!I bought this Red light pad in hopes it would work similar to the bemer blankets/red light therapy machines. And for the size, it does work really well. I noticed a difference after using it a few times on my older mare. I put it around her poll, neck, withers, back and hips. I also recently bought a larger band so I can do it to her belly too. She will sit there while being worked on and nearly fall asleep while licking/chewing and yawning. I did not want to spend $$$$$ on a red light machine. This has a magnetic connection and that is my only complaint that if you have a horse that shakes their heads or moves a lot, this may not stay on there. But completely worth it if you have one that needs some extra TLC ! You are not spending a ton just to get the same results :)

Helpful!
It really helps with pain and swelling in my ankle and foot. The battery, however, doesn’t last the full amount of my setting. I set for 30 minutes and it stops before that.

Seems to help
I've broken both of my feet and one of them developed severe nerve damage and has other issues including the end of the bone inside the ankle that did not heal properly from an old injury that probably needs to be drilled and filled with a bone filler. I've been using two of these pads almost daily, at least a few times a week for quite some time and slowly but surely I'm proving. I don't know if that bone is healing but the nerve damage pain is less than it was. I do believe these help and it's best to put it on the 850 and put it on flashing I learned. One of the things I didn't know except that I was playing with the buttons is that the way you get it to flash is after you set it all up you then hit the power button again and that's how it flashes. There are very poor to limited instructions if there are any at all so you have to figure things out by researching and I just gave you a great tip. I think it's worth the money and red light therapy is all the rage. Obviously science says there's something to it and when I told the foot surgeon that I was going to use these pads she smiled and said oh are you really that's awesome. So she approved of it. Anything's worth a try
