Replaced the original Nintendo switch Lite battery and this one is working great.

Had a failed battery on a switch. Cost to replace the battery personally was half what the warranty company wanted to replace the switch with a refurbished one that had a newer battery. Since the only issue was battery we took the chance and fixed the switch. This battery and kit worked out great!!

The little blue plastic prybar immediately failed. Thankfully I had metal pry tools for the OEM battery removal (VERY DIFFICULT). The other tools are disposable. The soft metal of the tools and flimsy plastic will only work once or twice but it is cheap and works.

The installation was simple but and I calibrated the battery properly and this battery seems not not really hold charge for long. I don’t really recommend it to anyone.

Battery is lower capacity than OEM. I installed in my switch, thinking that I would get better battery life. Instead, I got worse battery life. I calibrated my switch battery for a week. Allowing it to overcharge overnight and deplete the battery before bed. It’s just a low quality battery.Wish I could return, but I procrastinated on install.

The replacement battery is ideal for the lite if your manufactured battery is going out.it's always a good idea to have replacement for when the time comes and you want to continue playing that particular console. I like how tools and everything is ready, but it does lack instructions on the kit if you never replaced a console battery before. Fortunately for me, I've done replacement batteries before so it wasn't hard to do. But, you have to know what you're doing with these type of kits, so it would work after the replacement. Took a star off over lacking instructions on properly replacement battery for anyone who never done it before with video game consoles.
