Nice product, Good Seller Support
Purchased this to run a 2.2kw water cooled spindle. worked great! Programming the VFD was easy and the manual was not overly complicated to understand. The Seller answered questions very quickly and I would purchase another one of these if I ever needed it.

Great little 3 phase VFD warning only a 110 V capable
Great Great well known branded 3 phase VFD for the money. Make sure you read the fine print only good for a 110 V. Excellent customer support responsive directly at their website.

great VFD
I used this inverter and some other parts from this seller, to make my own CNC machine. The instructions are pretty good, along with the 80 page manual. The seller is quickly responsive to questions and they know their product well. This is important if you are unsure about something.

Economical and capable
1. The manual is not for the light hearted, you must have some intuition about these things.2. Maybe can find it less expensive if you search.3. It is a Huanyang made inverter.4. Quality throughout.5. Unlimited capabilities for the technically inclined.6. Beautifully manages 3 phase motors to use for finer things. This is my third Huanyang VFD in the last several years; they have not faltered once. I'm staying with this brand.

Twice this model failed on me before I bought a Hitachi. Not UL listed
I had two of these fail on me running only at most have the listed amperage. Up In smoke or reporting overcurrent failures completely out of the blue. You're probably looking at this listing because you want to save money, but you're trading your sanity by having to buy multiple of them as they fail unsuspectedly. Manual is so poorly translated that you have to use the internet forums to figure out what the hell the setting actually does. Stop public money into the immoral Chinese regime and buy a quality non-disposable vfd and run it with confidence.

Works but not great
There are so many variations of this cheap vfd. Most of them are similar but to make it clear I knew I was buying a cheap piece of equipment but I could get it here quick while I waited on a real vfd.To my surprise this one does not have an auto tune function at all. You can choose from 3 different curve profiles. This makes a few issues. One being the high frequency, nails on a chalkboard sound it makes when starting. The other is heat. Another annoying noise it makes is the cooling fan... you have to choose from a few profiles depending on torque curve you desire. More torch, more nails on chalkboard. I can hear it over my compressor! Again it’s cheap and will keep things moving while I wait for the real one.Don’t expect much. I’m running it on a cnc lathe spindle and was able to operate it using remote triggering and variable speed using 0-10V functions from my cnc.

About 4 months usage.
For starters, you need to know what you are doing in order to get this running properly, it isnt just something you can throw together. That being said, this ran well the first time I ran it, but out of the box there was a screw loose and rattling around. I had to completely disassemble this in order to get to the screw - voiding any kind of warranty because of this.Second time I ran it, just now, it ran well for about an hour on and off. Then I heard a loud pop. I shut everything down and disassembled it. Couldn't find the culprit, but now I have a low voltage error (I assume, the error shown isnt in the manual), even after factory reset. All in all, 140 bucks for this POS is not worth it. Dont make my mistake, put out a little more money and get a better quality vfd.Edit: sent in for a replacement. Hopefully I get in a good one, since others have given this good reviews.Edit2: replacement was received quickly, and has been working very well. If this was the first one I got in, I would have given it 5 stars.Edit3: After a few months, this one has blown as well. In the middle of working on a knife, heard a pop and it shut down and started smoking. Using a surge arrestor and everything else on that line is functioning, so it is pretty isolated to a problem with the vfd itself.
