WOW ! When I ordered this costume I was just looking to get the cape , but when it arrived it is super nice and great quality. I now may actually want to wear this instead of what I had planned. The cape is a nice thick velvet like material (quite heavy) and a beautiful color red, it is a good length for me I am 5'2" & it covers my butt with a little to spare. The dress part is a perfect fit for me but keep in mind that I am only 88 lbs. on a good day, I ordered XS. When I actually first looked at it I thought no way , it looked like it would fit a barbie doll. I would say it does run small because it just fit me and I take a size 0. The only part that is big is the bust , I don't have much for boobs BUT this dress has enough room to put my head in where the boobs go. I can easily remedy that with a quick couple of stitches. One more thing the dress is SHORT , very short, I am not tall as stated above and this dress barely covers my crotch & butt. I would not wear it without thick tights or leggings unless at home for goofing around ! LOL. Seriously the costume is really quality material and very nice, much better than I had ever expected. I only needed the cape and now I guess I am going to be a seductive Little Red Riding Hood ! Who would have ever thought ? This costume can be very seductive if really want it to be , or can be a innocent , shy, Little Red Riding Hood, thats up to YOU. FYI : The white petticoat is attached to the dress and the bodice of the dress is black velvet , skirt is red same as the hooded cape. The petticoat is very picky it irritates your skin. I am going to wash it I am sure that will help. All in all I am thrilled with the costume ! Love it.

I ordered this XS costume for myself for a Halloween party. I am a very petite woman of 4 ' 11" and only 94 pounds so finding a sexy costume in my size is really hard to do, as I need between a 0 to 2 in size. This costume came with a full one-piece dress with a velvet feel to the skirt and a red velvet-like hooded cape (not attached to the dress). I ordered the slip separately because it did not come with the set and I wanted the dress to poof out like the image. However, even without the slip the dress had some flare to it because I didn't realize it had a 1 layer, netted slip attached to the skirt. I did like it better with the extra many layered slip. The costume was nicely made and fit really well. In fact, it was slightly snug in the rib-cage area but I would not have changed that. The corset strings could be tightened but really not loosened to make any difference. The blouse portion was a bit too poofy and even with my biggest push-up bra, did not give me any cleavage. I didn't really mind that because the sleeves could be worn off the shoulders to give a better shape to the chest poofiness. I purchased a separate pair of white thigh high pantyhose and made my own goody basket. My husband purchased a Big Bad Wolf costume and we won first prize in Best Couples Costume and Best Over All. (The extra slip was hanging too far below the dress in this pic but I fixed it, so don't pay attention to that)

This costume is surprisingly high quality! The red velvet is very thick and gives a nice shape. The white part is a little big, so if you have large breasts this would be perfect. I’m a 36D and had a little trouble filling it out without a really padded bar. I also pinned mine down a little in the middle to create more of a sweetheart neckline. The boning down the front of the black corset was also very strong and gave a great shape. The cape is also the same high quality red velvet fabric and goes great with the outfit. Overall great quality. Fits true to size - I ordered a medium.

Had the worst wardrobe malfunction.. the zipper kept going down on its own and then eventually couldn’t close. Luckily someone gave me an extra shirt and shorts to wear at the function

Overall, I really liked this costume and I got a ton of compliments on it! The dress and cloak are velvet with good structure and kept me pretty warm as well. The white chest part is essentially see through and has no structure. I am typically a 4/6 and I have a larger bust so I went with a medium as some reviews said the waist ran small. I had to add a makeshift corset to the back to tighten the dress as it was too big for me. If you prefer the costume more fitting and are between sizes I would size down. Red is brighter in person. I also got a tutu to add fullness to the skirt but it didn’t really need it. I think this is the first review I’ve taken the time to write because it really is an easy quality costume for the price!

The costume for the most part is quality. The price is great. The size was a good fit. Just a little bigger in the boob area but I was able to take it in some. The color was vibrant. It will need to be ironed. Disappointed because the picture in the add shows that the cape has a string tie closure and the one we received is Velcro so it kind of feels to close around the neck. I removed the Velcro and added a tie string. The white underskirt is very see through if you bend over everything is showing. I had to add another solid white underskirt to it. Worth the money spent.

Great quality, doesn’t look cheap. I suggest sizing down, I had to order this twice because the first one i got was too big and since the material is quite thick and not stretchy it can be very unflattering if the wrong size. It is big chest friendly. I am a 36DD and got a medium, it could probs fit a few cups bigger too. The only downside is the hood is pretty ugly. It has squared shoulders. also I did not receive the same hood as in the photo. Mine has velcro instead of the tie strings. Overall i suggest this costume for the price, i will probably alter the hood to look cuter.
