Unpacked it this morning with ease.Directions in the box were pretty clear.My spouse put it together in about 30 minutes.If you are disabled you may need help (the old toilet seat needed removing and I could not get behind the toilet to undo the screws—husband got on knees and did that).The seat is just perfect. I can lift myself up using the handles on each side.Perfect purchase for us!

I went with this chair as you can make it wider or narrower unlike the others that can only adjust the height. My bathroom where the toliet is at is a bit narrow, but was able to adjust it wider than I thought to have it fit well. I just had hip surgery so needed a higher rise with handles. This one turned out great, it is sturdy, dont feel like I will fall trying to push up from it and it fits will over our elongated toliet. So far have not had any issues of things not going where they are suppose to, not messy like I was initialy concerned about.

Would rate this higher but the leg rubber tips did not hold up after 3 months. Otherwise an outstanding chair.

I am terrible at assembling items. I have no intuitive sense that this part fits into that one. This item was easy to assemble with very clear instructions and illustrations and the parts labeled with letters so end A fits into B, etc. Even I was able to easily assemble it without the usual frustration. This has an adjustable width which I appreciated and needed to set at the smallest width. Although it appears that there is a larger area between the sink and the shower, the toilet is not centered within that area and the toilet paper holder sticks out. Obviously the seat has to be centered over the toilet so it is actually a much smaller space to the toilet paper holder. This is for a family member and hasn’t been used yet but I did sit on it and used it for support in getting up and it appears to be very sturdy.

After a recent hip replacement, it was too difficult to use a regular height toilet without bending too much, which is critical to avoid. I'm into week 3 of my recuperation, and will continue to use this for another 3+ weeks. The padded seat is comfortable, and the handles are great for stability. Easy to assemble and is very sturdy.
