Great Purchase
I am over the top I'm so pleased with this S90D OLED TV.It was easy to set up and turn it on. Then it had me use my smart phone and it's smart thing app. It was able to link up via wifi, get log in info, and start my accounts such as you tube and prime video. It even linked up with my JBL sound bar with HDMI ARC with no assistance. In the past ARC was so difficult to set up I gave up and just used an optical cord instead. The picture is fantastic. The colors are deep and rich. I'll have to watch a dark movie like The Godfather to see the darkness levels. The AI upscaling seems to really work well. The ARC audio hookup is a great upgrade from my previous TV with the same soundbar with Optical audio hookup. If you buy this TV make sure to use your Smartphone and the Smart Thing app.

S90D is impressive and good buy as well
Replaced Samsung Q70A 55" with Samsung S90D 65". Both have excellent picture quality, but S90D is still a discernible step up, deserving of a superb picture rating. Colors, sharpness, and motion characteristics are first rate. Price is right with S90F due for delivery soon. Nothing in pre-delivery information about S90F would change my purchase decision.

Crap software
I hate the software on this television! After spending $1000, I ought to be able to easily configure the damn thing so that when I turn it on, my three year old isn't assaulted by frightening, violent, or inappropriate imagery. I have been unable to do this. The crap Samsung app opens by default and, unprompted, starts playing whatever filth it wants. It was a sex scene from some 80s movie the first time I turned it on with my kid in the room. We're routinely treated to stills advertising horror and action films as we try to navigate the clunky interface to Daniel Tiger. The arrogance of Samsung that they think they should be able to foist on me and my family any content at all is breathtaking. The picture quality is excellent, too good actually. There's something oddly uncomfortable about the razor sharp clarity. The Alexa integration is crap.I loath this TV and would love to smash it with a hammer, but I spent 1000 on it and it's bolted to my wall, so I'll be living with it. At some point, I will find the time to try harder to force the idiotic software to be less offensive. Maybe a set top box would help.

S90D is a dream, even more outstanding dialed in.
The media could not be loaded. Great tv with very accurate color and crisp image. If you set your settings to the following, you’ll be blown away; most can be found in Pictures / Expert Settings.Color Tone: "Warm2” for a more accurate and natural color temperature. Color Space: "Auto’ works well for different situations. Color Booster and Contrast Enhancer: left “OFF”; no need and will throw off color accuracy IMO. Peak brightness: set to “high”. Picture Clarity: to Auto’. Power and Energy Saving:OFF so you won’t get any unwanted dimming. Lastly, when you’re streaming a movie, change “HDR Tone Mapping”: to “Static”, to finish off settings. You’ll get crazy accurate colors and a solid picture with absolutely no blooming. Jaw dropping. Can be viewed from any wide angle without losing quality or brightness at all. This was very important to me and weighed on my deciding factor. There is no darkening of the screen and no green tint when looking from the side, as when I do occasionally watch TV at an angle from the kitchen while cooking. I’m very satisfied. QD OLED has notably brighter color volume, better gradients than WOLED panels, and doesn’t suffer at all from these issues that WOLED panels do.I found ‘Filmmaker Mode’ and ‘Movie Mode’ the best picture modes. Choose what you think is best between the two. I set mine to Filmmaker mode 24/7, for colors as the director intended.Watching scenes with deep dark blacks is no issue for the S90D. I watched ‘Venom - The Last Dance’ which had killer inky blacks with no crushing. The S90D handles dark scenes superbly. Those that are wondering if not having Dolby Vision makes a difference, I can tell you it does not IMO. I watched ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ in Dolby Vision played in HDR, and tone mapping was done brilliantly, still providing life-like vivid clarity and a stunningly radiant picture. I’m going to be just fine without DV :) On high-end TVs such as the S90D, it’s a moot point it’s HDR quality is so good. I don’t own Blu-ray media. I stream and watch HDR cable content.HDR10+ content is as good as DV in its own right. I watched “Borderlands” which was 3D like, eye-popping color. Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, AppleTV and Paramount+ now support HDR10+ to name some I know. Disney just announced they are also starting.Dolby Atmos enabled works great. The S90D gets pretty loud without distortion, and voices are never buried. I was really impressed with the sound’s presence and volume. Even has a little bass! The Samsung Tizen OS isn’t perfect, but it’s customizable to your preferences. It’s not invasive of your privacy, with no forced pop-up ads or solicitations while you watch tv or search for channels. Navigating through the Samsung Tizen OS is rather simple to learn.I bought an Xbox controller and through Tizen ‘Game Hub’ , tried a subscription of ‘Xbox Ultimate Game Pass’, without a console. It is super fun. I played games like Halo, Battlefield 4, and Forza 5, to name a few. The games are fluid with no stutter at all and look amazing! It is a lot of fun by just adding a game controller. What an awesome value if you don’t own a console to be able to game on the S90D. It does it so well and is console-free.I thought it was an easy setup from start to finish. I’m very happy with this absolutely gorgeous TV. :)I did add a 3-year Asurion Insurance protection to cover myself from any QC issues that may arise and suggest you do so on ANY TV at this price point, for peace of mind and just enjoy. :D

Great for console gaming
Awesome TV! The main reason I chose this one was for its supposed ability to have a good enough refresh rate for console games. Turns out that it indeed has a satisfying response time. I love it. The colors are vivid and the blacks are very black. Samsung nearly always comes through with quality.Only gripe is the OS will auto play random crap tv shows as soon as you sign into your Samsung account. I still need to figure out how to make it stop.

Fantastic TV
Excellent brightness, color, and one of the best viewing angles money can buy. Our living room has a lot of natural light, but the antiglare and brightness hold up well against the sunlight. The 77" is subjectively larger than I expected; unless you have a very large space, this is a massive TV. Although I managed to set it up by myself, it didn't feel very safe. I found the printed instructions for setup a little confusing; hit up youtube for a clearer demonstration of the (simple) process. The delivery truck had a two-man team that brought it in and upstairs, which was very appreciated.
