Gorgeous art piece
This is a beautiful piece of art. It's perfect to make an impression without being too big or showy. It's very tasteful and has an incredible feeling of motion and movement. It's not bronze but it looks like it is. It would make an excellent gift, but you'll probably want to keep it for yourself!

Gorgeous sculpture but some serious manufacturing flaws
The media could not be loaded. My husband and I love going to sculpture gardens and museums whenever we get a chance and we just had to have this gorgeous Diver sculpture for our home. From afar, it’s stunning and a very nice size. It has a good weight to it and the bronze color is warm. The first thing I noticed as soon as I unpacked it was missing bronze coloring on the side of his leg - with a white material showing through. I’m assuming the white is the color of the resin the entire sculpture is cast in and somehow the bronze was painted on but missed this area? I’m not sure if that’s the process or not but it’s what it looks like to me. It’s a fairly large area and a real eyesore for something this striking. Then we noticed something crumbly on the back of the diver’s neck, it came off and was yellowish on our fingers. I wiped it down to remove it all but I’m hoping it was somehow a sticky residue of the paint/finish?Lastly, it looks like the face, mainly the nose of the diver wasn’t fully cast. Maybe there was an air bubble in the mold? From afar, it’s really something to see, just beautifully sculpted and elegant- from up close there are some serious flaws. Maybe I can find a touchup paint for the side, that would take care of most of the very visible issues.
