I purchased this to mount in my truck for a compact 9mm. Works well, magnet is strong but not too strong and the rubber coating protects from any scratching.

Works great for a pit blind to keep weapon safe.

This is the perfect magnetic mount for revolvers. Fits cylinder or barrel holds securely. Highly recommend.

Works exactly as expected

Will not hold a full sized pistol well, in a vehicle. It is what I ordered, but over priced for what it is. Will hold a mag.

It's a decent gun magnet but only for certain applications. I use it on the dash of my UTV for the barrel of my shotgun. The shotgun stands upright with butt on the floor. (not much weight on the magnet) It would also work well for smaller, lightweight handguns under dash, or lager handguns at bedside, but magnet is not strong enough to hold a heavy handgun in a vehicle when bouncing around.

These gun magnet holders work great. I have 4 of them up in my duck blind and they hold my shot guns up with ease. There is just enough magnatisim to hold them in place and a quick snatch of the gun and I'm ready to knock some ducks out of the sky. They provide peace of mind knowing that the gun is not going to fall over due it just resting up against the rail of blind.

I'm using this with my S&W Airweight 38spl. It's an alloy frame but the cylinder has enough iron in it for the magnet to grip it firmly to the underside of a table. In part because the vee shape magnet contours to the round cylinder. The barrel is also high iron content. A flat magnet may work on the barrel but this configuration is superior for a revolver cylinder.
