Living near the coast we can get some changeable weather, so our son, who likes to read and play computer games on his iPad, has got into the habit of putting the cover right over everything on the sun-lounger so it doesn't get wet or blown away.He forgot once and it was really funny seeing the panic on his face as he ran through the kitchen during a thunderstorm to find I'd put the cover on for him.

Having just returned to a DIY store a different cover at the same price, this was 100% better quality and fit. Bought for a double lounger, it fits perfectly and the material seems very durable and weatherproof. It’s easy and quick to put on and you can tighten it up once in place and secure with the clips. So far so good !

The advertised size of these covers is 210x80x40/80.The Oxford fabric is very very lightweight, more like a nylon - nothing like the weight and rigidity of the traditional canvas and PVC backed covers but this lightweight material suits my needs.It was easy to put on the furniture with some slack on all measures but is held in place with tensioning straps and clips around the legs of the lounger.The tensioning straps on at the top and bottom end of the cover, these are a simply pulled to tighten. Each corner also has a strap with a quick release style tab and can be adjusted to fit around the legs of the lounge plus there is a drawstring on each side around the whole of the bottom of the cover to pull it as tightly closed as possible to limit wind getting under the cover and lifting it up.Despite the straps, clips and drawstring to secure it the cover is very lightweight, if wind were to get under it could inflate from beneath and lift it off, there are covered vents either end that to alleviate this problem by venting the wind out whilst still maintaining weather proofing. Whether these work will become apparent after a gale.The finish, styling and branding is smart giving it the look of a premium product, the white stitching looks good when new, how it weathers, time will tell.Overall this is good looking, easy to fit and adjust and waterproof. My only concern is how long it will last in a freezing windy British winter but even the heavy canvas covers come off in high winds and this covers has many anchoring options plus the built-in vents which should prevent this problem.I intend to use this during the summer months to prevent sun damage and keep the lounger dry in the rain and put the lounger away for the winter so for me this is an ideal, lightweight, easy to put on and take off and sun/ waterproof.

A well made, thick outdoor furniture cover which I got to use on our table tennis table for which is is perfect. The thick, waterproof material protects it against rain and snow and has stopped ice forming on the table top as well so it seems quite good as a moisture barier.The tensioning straps and feet straps stop it blowing away even in the gales we recently had so I am very pleased with this product. It is made of a good quality plastic weave and should last several years from expereince of similar material when used outside. The biggest danger I have found with these type of products is direct strong sunlight tends to weaken them much more quickly that heavy rain or wind so if you can keep them out of direct sunlight you will most likely improve the lifespan of this product.

This feels sturdy, is waterproof, the seams are well stitched and strong, it has buckled loops for legs, 2 adjustable straps and 2 drawstrings on opposite sides. So you can improve the fit all around.Also, it has covered ventilation holes to help prevent mould. These keep things dry, even in prolonted, heavy rain. I think it will stay put on most sofas, as long as you use the leg loops, which can also go on feet if necessary. Without, it might blow off in windy weather, as it relies on them to keep it in place. Adjusting the straps and drawstrings will also help.Only time will tell how well the fabric stands up to UV rays and weather, but for plastic, it seems strong.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy.You can see my rating system on my public profile under my bio, as I don't want to add it to every review.
