Great alarm for a motocycle too!
The media could not be loaded. I use this on my motorcycle which did not have an alarm and it's great. Watch the video to see what I did. I love that I can recharge it which is no hassle at all. Good cheap added security.

Essential homeless survival tool
We are presently homeless and use this motion sensor alarm to deter theft of our essential survival gear. We purchased heavy duty velcro tape, affixed one side to the back of the alarm, and the other to the front of our Milwaukee Packout chest locked to a tree at our basecamp to protect our sleeping bags and thermal mattress inside it. At night we unstick the alarm and slip it into an exterior mesh pocket of our daypack so we will wake if anyone tries to steal our pack. During the day we can velcro it to our laptop case.The main disadvantage of this alarm is that whereas motorcycle motion alarms (which cost upwards of $500 and require power from the motorcycle battery to operate) will radio page the owner through buildings and over long distances in the event of attempted theft, so that the owner's key fob radio pager loudly activates, this device does not page you. The fob does not make any sound, and is only used to turn on and off the alarm and the other functions.Thus, if you cannot hear the alarm activate, you will not know it. If it continues for a long time, you may drain the battery at best, and draw unwanted attention at worst.

Hard to Charge Once Securely Attached
I got this for my daughter to use on her bike at school. It is a loud deterrent that will probably make someone reconsider taking your bike. Our biggest issue was charging the device.With all of the bike theft on campus, in order to make this effective as a deterrent, we needed to secure it to the bike so that it couldn't be easily removed. But securing the alarm to the bike made it very hard to charge. We had to move the bike to the power source, detach the alarm from the bike, or bring a portable battery to the alarm. The portable battery became the most feasible solution.Unfortunately, since anything that isn't solidly attached to the bike (and some things that ARE solidly attached) will get stolen, she couldn't leave the portable battery with the bike to charge. This meant that she had to wait with the bike for it to charge, which also isn't practical. After a couple of times charging the device, she just stopped using it.Good deterrent if you can easily charge and use it. Didn't work for us.
