Update, well 6 months + later and the bag has become a firm favourite for everyday carry, holding my MacBook Pro, iPad, Headphones, water bottle etc. The zips have remained good, the front grab pocket is ideal for storing my headphones and the little Debit card pocket on the straps has become indispensable.I have a few similar items from Tom-Toc (T73 + the 40L), Filson (2x Duffle packs, 1x Briefcase ), Gomatic, Bellroy, Porter by Yoshida and they all cost significantly more, this one is often my choice for overnight trips.My prospective son in law has just got his first job and asked my advice for a work bag, without any hesitation I bought him one of these.A surprisingly good every day carry/ or working away for a night or two rucksack, it offers a lot of features, and is well made and excellent value.My thoughts:1. On arrival i was surprised to see it just came in shrink wrapped clear plastic. (Other rucksacks have come in boxes, but this cost just £50). But The bag is incredible value and a box would just join the recycling or landfill, so Black knight are to be commended for doing all they can to protect the environment2. Unwrapping it, I checked the zips, they're not branded YKK zips. But they appear to be of very good quality, they have a water resistant cover to the zippers, the outer material is very nice indeed. And the overall aesthetic is excellent. It looks far more expensive than it cost, the branding is minimal. The zips will also support small padlocks, which isn't a bad idea.3. There is no water bottle holder. however the side pockets usefullness more than makes up for this. I tuck away my galaxy buds and my charger and or mouse into these pockets and a USB C cable. I use a Carabiniere for my water bottle.4. The outside looks to be of a coated ballistic nylon type material with a coating, It looks very professional and "Stealthy".5. Starting with the straps, they are nicely padded and there is a small, zipped pocket on the left one, ideal for an Oyster card or similar, maybe some change or a few banknotes. This has turned out to be very useful on journeys and once you have a pack with this feature, I really miss it on my other Rucksacks. Trust me you will probably use this far more than you realise.6. The shoulder straps are remarkably comfortable7. There is a "Hidden" pocket at the rear, ideal for passport, wallet etc. (Or an airtag or tile tracker).8. The back is reasonably well cushioned and the straps appear to be well stitched to the bag.9. There is a chest/sternum strap between the two straps for spreading the weight if the bag is heavily loaded10. Moving from the back of the bag to the first zipped pocket, we find the laptop/tech pocket, the laptop sleeve is reasonably well padded, and the bottom of tit is suspended/hanging, so your laptop should be safe(ish) from placing the bag on the floor reasonably heavily. The tech pocket is a clamshell design, opening fully.11. My new M4 11" iPad pro and magtic keyboard fits perfectly in the ipad Sleeve with my M3 Macbook air in the laptop sleeve Apart from the two sleeves, there are no other pockets in this compartment. There is a velcro strap to secure the laptop and, the iPad/Laptop sleeve is well padded and suspended from the bottom, of the pack, all in all my tech feels very safe and well protected12. two side pockets, both are of a reasonable size and ideal for items you need quick access to.13. The next big compartment, ideal for clothes, shoes, toiletries for an overnight stay. This has a sleeve, two smaller mesh pockets, and on the other side of this compartment another sleeve and two larger mesh pockets. It too is a clamshell, which makes sense and makes packing/unpacking very easy. There is also access from the top of the bag which means easy access to a hoodie etc stored there. Its a good size There is also the USB A and USB C cables to attach a battery pack to charge your tech on the go, this works very well as you can connect two items via the external (rubber covered) charging slots . It worked well with my battery pack. (You do have to buy a battery pack, if you are wondering, it does not come supplied with one.)Moving to the front of the pack we have the last smaller pocket, which has a key holder, ( you can detach the keyring (nice touch).There is also a pen holder and two other sleeves. Its of reasonable size14. the final pocket, there is a pocket on top which is ideal for sunglasses etc. This pocket is very useful15. The rubber top handle is excellent quality and feels very securely attached16. The strap that you can place on top of your wheeled cabin luggage is a nice touchIn useOn a recent business trip away, (two nights) I used this in anger, the load was as follows:Samsung budsSony WH4MX headphonesM3 Macbook AirM4 iPad ProExternal thunderbolt SSDMulti device charger and cablesMX Master3S mouse2x Polo shirts1xHoody3x socks3x pants1x hoody(Clothes werre all in compressible packing cubes)Wash bag with toiletries etc.A4 Document packSunglassesAnd all fitted with no issues. There was no drama on my trip and I got to really see how it held up.SummaryAs I travel a lot for my work, I have a number of rucksacks by other manufacturers and many have cost 3-5 times as much. But this has impressed me greatly, it has all the features of more expensive packs, and is very well made. I would have to say its a bargain and on a recent trip, I was packing my kit away, when another passenger asked me "Can I ask where you got your rucksack from?"It has become the pack that I use most of all, mainly for the features. The only mystery is how have Black Knight Achieved this and sold it slowly cheaply? Its worth far more.So it's a 10/10 from me.

This laptop bag has proven to be the perfect all-rounder for me now that I am back to being in the office. It has the perfect amount of storage space for all of my daily essentials, it fits (snugly) my 17" Macbook. Being able to fully-open the largest compartment on the bag is surprisingly handy as it feels like you can get a lot more stuff in.The bag itself is made of a really nice quality material that feels like it's not going to fray any time soon, for the price point it's seriously good value for money.On top of that, it looks great. I found with a lot of backpacks they can look bulky or just a bit odd. This was not the case in this situation.Seriously good buy!

Really impressed with this laptop backpack. Spacious enough to fit my laptop comfortably while still feeling compact and easy to carry.
