yes it is. You will not have this problem with this spray. I have used Kenra volume spray 25 for 10 years. I won't use anything else. You do not need a lot of spray to hold your hair. Brush out easily. Enjoy. I hope this will help you.

This is a very strong hair spray and I love it! it reminds me of what we used to call "Spritz" hair spray. It was very stiff. This is strong and a little goes a long way. I like it because it is not terrible to build up in my hair. once you spay it on and it dries, it has a strong hold to the touch. It isn't like these new hairsprays that advertise a touchable hold; which is bogus anyway, we all know if you can run your fingers through it after you spray it, it isn't going to hold very long. This will hold well. I think if you try it, you will like it a lot. I sure do. I hope I have helped you.

Yes, I have color treated hair and love This spray. My hair is very course, thick and naturally curly. It really helps control my hairstyle.
