I had another metal steamer before this one and the leaves keep falling off. The silicone one I bought was ok but was too bulky. This one is great. I gave it a 4 for sturdiness only because the post in the middle that screws in and out doesn't fit in all that well. But it works well enough and the rest of the steamer is great and sturdy. Slightly on the smaller side.

Great size. Not heavy. We use it mostly for steaming dim sum. If your water is hard, you will get hard water spots but boiling some water with a little bit of vinegar cleans that up nicely.

The material of its structure is too thin, the screw on the lid is not stainless steel, the metal edge of the lid is of low quality.

This steamer is almost perfect. The only minor issue is the inner handle may be a bit long for some pot lids to rest properly. Yes, you can unscrew it very easily, but doing so makes it just a little harder to take out of the pot. If the handle was a half inch shorter, (for my pot), I wouldn't have had to remove it, but I have other pots. I love the rubberized feet. That's important, and I haven't seen that feature anywhere else. That's what saves your nonstick pots from being scratched. It's the main reason I chose this particular brand. I'm very pleased with it, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. The one star off is for the length of the handle.

Three features I like most about this basket:1. Sturdy "feet" that are retractable, do not mar or scratch pans, and keep the basket at right height (out of water) to steam food.2. Adjustable size -- fits many different sized pots/pans.3. The Retractable handle makes it easy to remove from pan.It seems well-made and sturdy. I even used it in a skillet and it did not collapse.

If this entire 2 pots and lid weigh over 2 ounces I am amazed. This is the lightest weight thing I have ever gotten. It has some Chinese writing embossed on it and they need to be aware this is shoddy at best.you need hot pads to touch the lid knob and definitely the carrying handles. This was a very expensive play toy for the grand children. Totally NOT WORTH the money

Great set, it is larger than I needed

I've had a few of these vegetable steamers over the years and always discarded them because they fell apart easily. Not this one! It's very sturdy, and the middle handle makes it easy to use.
