I bought this about one week ago and I absolutely love it! It works flawlessly and the bags are reusable and dishwasher safe. It is exceptionally easy to use right out of the box and the battery lasts a long time. One of its best features is its size. I don’t have a lot of counter space and it takes up very little room. I had another very good vacuum sealer, but it was large and cumbersome..I kept it in a closet and rarely used it as it was difficult to get out of the closet and set up.. I highly recommend this product!

THIS is what I have wanted. Small compact food saver that works as advertised! This review is after several months of using the product. I am enjoying this soooo much, I got my mom one as well.Easy to use and pump is rechargeble...no changing batteries! The bags are thicker than expected which makes them more durable. I've already put some in the dishwasher and reused them.I've taken to buying bulk meats and cutting it myself and also looking for packages meats on sale. Vacuum seal then to the freezer. Have had NO freezer burn on any of the items.HIGHLY recommended as you can't beat the price for what this give you.

I have bags like these, but smaller. These work great for getting the air out! It will squeeze your food too much if your not carefully. The larger size is greatly appreciated. Nice, sturdy, reusable bags.

Handy size, vacuum seals the included bags well and is a great way to reduce food waste. The sealer pulls the bag snugly around the contents, and will crush soft, delicate items.One of my worst food wastes is fresh bagged spinach. So I'm conducting an experiment to test spinach freshness after its expiration date. We are currently 12 days after bagging, which is 7 days beyond the expiration date.*Original packaging: the bagged spinach is wet and a few leaves are slimy. The majority of leaves are still usable for cooking, but not at peak freshness. I wouldn't want to eat them fresh in a salad.*Chef Preserve bag: there was some condensation inside the bag but the spinach is still really fresh. Note: I left a tiny bit of air in the bag, didn't let the sealer crush the spinach.*Mason Jar: some condensation inside the jar, spinach is still fresh, completely vacuum sealed since a glass jar can't crush the spinach. Note that the Chef Preserve is NOT compatible for sealing mason jars.The Chef Preserve bags are convenient to store and use, but washing and drying them is a bit of a hassle. The food preservation results this far are very good, equal to using mason jars, but sometimes a bag is best. Two things that do NOT work well are liquids and powders, as they prevent the vacuum valve from sealing (my reason for a 4 star review).Foods I've vacuum sealed using Chef Preserve with great results:Mini bell peppers (gently sealed)Cheese (gently sealed)PepperoniHam slicesEgg salad sandwich (gently sealed)Fresh green beansCabbage headGrapes (gently sealed)Gently sealed means I stopped the sealer from achieving a complete seal to prevent crushing the food. Cheese slices are hard to separate after being tightly sealed.Of all my vacuum sealing gadgets (full size Food Saver, mason jar sealer and Chef Preserve), I'm getting more use from the Chef Preserve than I expected. It's great for short term storage because it's just so convenient and easy to use!

We got this for Christmas and we were blown away! It’s so compact to put in a drawl nicely.No more big bulky machines for us that we hated took up so much counter space we got the 20 reusable bag in 3 sizes. The bags go in the fridge and freezer takes up less room and the fact that we don’t have to buy bags again because they go right into the dishwasher to clean them and reuse. It seals within a minute or less and it’s the easiest thing to use.My husband and I looked at each other and said where was this long ago. We store our fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses you name it. My fridge and freezer is so organized it’s ridiculous. My cheeses, salads, fruits we take out what we need then reseal it so more things are going bad in our refrigerator. We hated so much that we ended up throwing out more fruits, salads etc. because they would spoil before we could use it all.We recently used it with a marinade for steaks and they came out awesome. I rinsed the bag out and slid them in my dishwasher and they cleaned up like new to use again and again.This can sit on your counter if you wanted and it takes up zero space and is stylish the usb charging method is like amazing. We recommend this to anyone as it’s flat out amazing! Saves space , money on no more big bulky machines to take out anymore. WOW! WOW! And WOW thank you. 😊

Works great. I am saving money by freezing food items in the vaccum bags!! The fresh foods last longer, so less food thrown away!! . It comes with two different size bags and option tomorder more. Will order more bags to use to put up garden items. Great investment!!

I found the "Chef Preserve Vacuum" very easy to use and more convenient to store. It was quick and easy to handle. Really good for smaller food items. I know I will be using this more often than the larger bulky one that you have to drag out and try to remember how to use each time. Really worth the money and especially with the bags being washable and reusable. Great purchase!
