I initially was skeptical about any carpet dry cleaner, but I am more than pleased with this product. After researching other brands I decided on SaniClean because I have chemical sensitivity. The alcohol-based formula wasn't at all irritating and as promised in the product description, left no fumes or overpowering fragrance. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to use. I was impressed by how far the product went. A little really does go a long way! I bought 2 15oz. pails and one pail cleaned my entire living room plus maybe a third of the master bedroom. The second pail took care of the rest of the room with enough left over to clean the smaller bedroom. I'll need a small amount of a third pail to clean my stairs and I'll keep the rest on hand for any spot cleaning I need to do.EDIT: No third pail necessary for the stairs! There's about a third of the second pail remaining and that's PLENTY for 14 carpeted stairs.My 2-year old carpet wasn't soiled (no before/after photos) but it had absorbed cooking odors and needed a refresh. After using SaniClean my home smells fresher and the carpet looks well groomed. Of course not having to wait hours for it to dry was a huge plus, and the money saved versus a traditional cleaning doesn't hurt either. I highly recommend!A few notes: After reading other reviews mentioning the product's tendency to clump, I bought a wire mesh sifting scoop to lightly and evenly apply the snow like you would a vacuum powder. The product is moist and some clumps still formed, but I pressed them through the sifter easily enough.The instructions recommend brushing the snow into the carpet after applying it and I'm sure a handheld brush would be fine for smaller spot cleaning jobs, but I bought bought a long-handled push broom because I needed to cover larger areas.Lastly, and this is just me being extra, I used a Grandi Groomer to give the carpet a once-over after I cleaned it. You'd never know the carpet hadn't been professionally done.

This worked to get out a large stubborn stain. It’s been months and it has never come back as with most cleaners or even professional carpet cleaning definitely worth buying and worth the effort to scrub it in to get it working. My vacuum vacuumed it up effortlessly and this was a great product for sure I will be buying again.

Only giving 4 stars because it’s pretty clumpy but other than that I feel like it works really well. I used this on 2 separate rugs and scrubbed a little harder on the second one since it was dirtier. It did seem to slightly get up the stains but could still see some of them. I just think our rugs were super dirty though. This carpet cleaner also smells amazing! I did like that it is a dry carpet solution. I hate using a shampooer because it takes forever to dry.

SaniClean Dry Carpet & Rug Cleaning Powder is easy to use, just brush it in, let dry, and vacuum. There was no chemical smell ata all as I’ve experienced with other powders and it has no harsh chemicals, so it’s safe for me, my family and our little dog too! I was surprised how much soil it lifted out. The powder was white when applied, and the powder vacuumed up was brown. It deep cleaned the carpet and left no odor or moisture behind. The carpets are clean, soft and fresh! I will use it again.

We are selling our home and purchased a cream colored area rug to lighten the space in our family room. The rug looked great for two weeks but my two large dogs definitely got the rug a little dirty. Used this product, brushed it into the rug and vacuumed. Looked new and had a great light fragrance. Very easy, dries quickly,and effective. Such a relief not to have to use a rug cleaner.

Good product! Took the dingy gray out of my white shag carpet.

Had walk way very dirty. Used saniclean on . worst area had to treat twice but very happy with results. Liked the ease of use and quick dry.

Professional cleaners charge $250. For cleaning my 8x10 wool rug. This cleaner did an outstanding job Very happy with this product
