Two active ingredients – menthol and methyl salicylate. Both are well-known, naturally occurring analgesics and help to reduce local pain and inflammation. Menthol also helps to stimulate blood flow in the skin, as, of course, does the action of rubbing the cream into your skin.Once absorbed into the body, methyl salicylate converts to Salicylic Acid, which is good old-fashioned Aspirin, well-known for relieving minor aches and pains, especially headaches.My own experience has been that Deep Heat Max Strength really does work remarkably well at relieving a range of chronic aches and pains, including muscle strain, rheumatism and Sciatica. The cream rubs in easily and is much better absorbed than most other ointments. It remains effective for several hours and can be safely applied more than once a day. It doesn’t appear to stain socks or underwear. It has quite a strong scent of menthol/peppermint – I happen to like it, but it is probably worth waiting a few minutes for it to subside before venturing among crowds.

Value for money

I get really painful legs at night. I have tried many different things but this is the best. It takes the pain away. I always apply it wearing disposable gloves.

Stinks and you can’t wash it off your hands that well ....you need to use gloves ....but on the pain relief...it’s blooming amazing 😊🤗

Dirs what it is supposed to do.

This product helps me a lot with pains I suffer from Fibromyalgia and arthritis. My partner applies this on my knees, both hips and the outer upper legs. I think what helps me most is the sensation thus product gives me on my skin. It’s distracting from the pains. It’s important to only apply this cream very thin as it probably would get uncomfortable if you put too much onto your skin. This cream has not stained any of my clothes with is just brilliant! I prefer the deep heat max to the original deep heat cream as it gets absorbed into the skin better. The original deep heat leaves a while film on your skin and clothes but it washes out of your clothes and can be waves of your skin easily.
