An essential!
I’ve bought these religiously. They are easy to tear, functional, great hold. I’ve gone as far as to call these my best friend when it comes to my business. They work great to keep cords safely secured to the ground whether it’s indoors or outdoors. They’re easy to use, thick enough so give cords a good layer and avoid people tripping on them. I’ve also a used it to keep stands up, I had a kid fall on one of my backdrops and it stood tall with the set up I have on the pictures I provided.Because it’s a very strong hold be careful not to get it stuck to itself or it will be very hard to come off. I carry a small pocket razor knife for these situations just in case. Also, keep these indoors. If left in the sun or heat, these will stick to themselves and cause that white tape effect with no adhesive. I learned my lesson with one roll.

Durable, Reliable, and a Must-Have for Any Project
This black gaffers tape is a lifesaver for both professional and everyday uses. The 2-inch width and 30-yard length per roll make it versatile and long-lasting, and the 2-pack is great value for the price. Why It’s a Go-To Product:Strong Adhesion Without Residue: It sticks securely to a variety of surfaces but removes cleanly without leaving sticky residue behind—a big deal for staging, events, and temporary setups.Durable and Tear-Resistant: The tape is tough and holds up well under stress. I’ve used it for cable management, securing props, and even quick fixes around the house.Professional Matte Finish: The non-reflective finish is perfect for use in video production, photography, or stage settings where shiny tape would be distracting.Easy to Use: It tears easily by hand, so no need to hunt for scissors or a knife in the middle of a project.Whether you’re a professional in theater or media production, or just looking for a dependable tape for everyday tasks, this gaffers tape is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Great Stick Without the Stuck
We used this tape to lay a Marley dance floor onto old linoleum flooring (yes, this is an old building) for a temporary performance. The tape kept the flooring in place for a heavy dance performance that lasted for about 2 hours. When we removed the tape, after 3 days of it being down in high heat, it left 0 residue.I will say that I had this tape on the carpet for wires at a local church. It gave a good stick, but when I removed it (after about 1 year, 6 months) the glue did get stuck. I strongly suggest leaving the tape down temporarily, no longer than 3 months because the glue will start to become extremely sticky.

Best for short term use (1-2 days)
It works, it’s not the cloth-feeling type though it’s a bit more plastic feeling and it doesn’t stay stuck over time. So for a removable tape like taping cords down and being able to pull them up after the event/photoshoot/etc. it’s probably a decent option without destroying the surface (although it did pull a tiny bit of paint off a wall when I removed one piece). For something you need to last a few days or weeks though it will start peeling up. This was indoors, with air conditioning running so not a high humidity situation or anything, and a different brand I had used for the same project (the black tape in my pic) did not peel up during this time.

Terrible. Waste of Money & Time.
I bought this brand to replace a different brand of Gaffers tape that my husband had. I was extremely impressed by how high quality and sticky it was; which was the first time I had experience with Gaffers Tape at all. I’m prefacing that to say, I thought this type of tape would be great in any brand based off my 1st experience, so I chose in this brand with the expectation it would be just as amazing, durable, and almost infinitely sticky. To my surprise Gaffers tape is pricey- so I bought this brand because it was 2 rolls for a great price. This was a total mistake. This brand is NOT as good of a material and and it is not durable AT ALL. I used it to seal up the air pockets in the windows where I have my portable heater exhausts so air wouldn’t seep in, but after a few days almost every piece of tape started to lift and fall off. I found strips in every window I did this for (which was 4). So when I thought I was saving money and getting a good deal, I was actually just losing money. Now I have to spend more to replace the tape itself. Furthermore, I now have to spend double the time redoing my work. Which honestly p*sses me off more. I do not suggest this brand of tape- please learn from my mistake and don’t allow the allure of a few dollars saved deceive you into purchasing this brand. Get the good *ish the 1st time around. You’ll be much happier.

My Reliable Standard
I've been using this consistently for about 6 years now. When I first bought it I was working for a club where the budget was tight, and this gaffer tape is slightly less expensive than some other brands out there. So I gave it a go and turns out it works just as well for my purposes as anything else I've ever used. I continue to recommend and purchase this tape regularly. For working in sensitive spaces like art galleries are just fancy music venues and events, you want to be using tape that wont mark up any floors or surfaces. However you still need it to be sticky enough to work. This tape has the perfect balance of stickiness with a general lack of leaving residue of any kind. Its easy to rip and partition any which way, and in doing so you aren't left with tape than can then unravel or degrade more easily. It doesn't leave residue on my cables either which is a problem with other tape I've used.Regarding the sizing the 2inch option is a good standard to use for everything. However go with the 3inch option if you are consistently taping multiple cables, as it will speed up your workflow a bit. 2 strips of 2 inch can handle bundles with ease, it just requires more tape length obviously.I will continue to get this brand of gaffer tape whenever possible. I do use other kinds on various jabs as I don't always have my own to work with, but in those cases I wish I had this tape instead as I worry about the residue other brands will leave especially on the actual cables.
