Out of anything I’ve found, this aluminum single dose hopper is by far the nicest single dose hopper available for Breville machines! The painted metal is gorgeous compared to plastic!There’s a silicone gasket that goes over the upper burr to prevent coffee beans from getting stuck in the lip of the frame around it, and to create an air seal for better expulsion of the grinds. The silicone gasket sets this product apart from other copy cat versions of the plastic version of this that you can find on Amazon. There’s also a gasket around the bottom of the aluminum hopper to create even more of an air seal, and it doubles as a way of keeping the metal hopper from rubbing on the frame of the machine and potentially scratching it.The silicone bellows is really thick and feels high quality. It also acts as a dosing cup, which is convenient because it eliminates the need for a separate dosing cup, which is great if you use the Breville portafilter funnel and not a dosing cup to collect your grounds. It allows you to eliminate some clutter by not needing a dosing cup.I was worried about the aluminum potentially scratching the white frame of my machine, but the gasket around the hopper, paired with being able to slightly lift the hopper when tightening it put my mind at ease.I highly recommended single dosing, and this hopper! With single dosing, the timing of my first shot of the day isn’t reduced by 10 seconds or more, and there aren’t stale grounds or beans left in the grinder.

I bought this ARO product for use in a Breville Barista Pro. The ARO Single Dose Hopper is very well made and works as advertised, which is all one can ask for. I am usually griinding 16gm of beans at a time, and I am getting just about 16gm of ground coffee back using the bellows to blow any remaining coffee into the portofilter basket.I highly recommend the, ARO Single Dose Hopper. It works well, easy to install and fits perfectly in Barista Pro.

I contacted the seller trying to troubleshoot to no help. They were very helpful but Product is just not doing what it supposed to do. retention is over 0.6 g each time minimum sometimes up to a gram. Even after using RDT seems static build up is substantial. Not acceptable and not as described by seller.

A bit expensive but works really well. Single dosing assures shot consistency and the compact form factor keeps the look clean with no accessibility issues under my counter top.

I have purchased their single doser before off of Etsy and I am a huge fan of it. This is definitely an upgrade from that design for a few aspects. I bought the aluminum version which is definitely a better build quality than the one that I previously purchased off Etsy, and the bellow is easier to clean.

A must have add on. Easy to install. Worth the extra cost.
