Very good weight and very comfortable and good feel in the hand. The knife arrived extremely sharp, all I need was run it over my strop a few times perfect cuts, no dragging through the slices.

Right size and weight for me. It's a little bit larger than I thought it would be but that's a good thing, you can scoop vegies easier. Perfect for all things that aren't too hard. I have a cleaver for those things. My girly friend really likes it also and she has arthritis. The knife isn't too heavy for her, but of course we only use it for meal prep so we're not using it for long periods of time. It's perfectly sharp and sort of pretty to look at. So far all I have are good things to say about it. Happy cooking to all of you. ( I would buy these and give them to friends )

I have a set of these knives and I bought a set for my granddaugther's 17th birthday, she is in cooking school and she loves this knife. It is well made, holds a sharp edge and a good price.

Very sharp. My partner didn’t realize I bought a bread knife and was able to cut freshly baked white bread slices with the chef’s knife. That’s certainly impressive.I deducted a star for fit and finish. The metal and wood handle is a little sharp in the hand and seems to be related to the wood being slightly smaller than the metal and the squared edge is proud of the wood.That said, the shape is quite comfortable in the hand and ergonomic for the “correct” way to hold kitchen knives.I’m not sure if the metal goes through to the end of the handle, but I suspect that it does not. This makes me question the long term durability, but time will tell.Decent value for the price paid! I bought the bundle and got more than I needed but everything I wanted.
