Oh Boy! Oberto Classics Cocktail Pep Smoked Sausages, 0.8 Ounce (Pack of 12)

Growing up in Seattle I always wanted to go in with my parents to grab one of these at the counter in the clear plastic box that flipped open !! I moved to missouri and havent had 1 in 15 years !!! When i found these i was soooo excited and im so happy i made the purchase i got 8 packs each pack has 6 sticks they are fresh and still as delicious as when i was a kid and my kids absolutely loved them as do I I will definitely be purchasing again and again!!!

Just spicy enough. my favorite.

I am repeatedly ordering these. A few bucks cheaper than at my local grocery store and I am just so addicted to these lol

If you have never had these they are a must try. Got introduced to them in Washington and well couldn't get them in texas. Finally found them on Amazon.

But a bit oily as it may have sat on a shelf in cool storage for a bit. Best product with a super long history from Renton, WA

everything was great from the packaging and the freshness of the product and its exactly what I was looking for.

I used to buy these at the Albany Oregon company thrift store. They were the best then and now I will tell you why I will never buy them again. First of all the size is great and you get many in the package. Now for the flavor. I have eaten a few of them but I will probably just turn them into expensive dog treats. The flavor is just plain nasty and they have a over powering vinegar flavor to them. They used to have a really good pepperoni snap and flavor. They used to be spicy but no more. They were soft and pliable and that means they were fresh with tons of time left before the expiration date but in the end its all about flavor. I suspect they changed the recipe to cut cost and it shows. These are very expensive so I expect the quality and taste to be there. I am very disappointed and I know that they merged or sold out to another corporation several years ago and several of their items just are not like they used to be. Save your money and my only wish is that if only Tillamook made the big logs.

I've been an oberto fan my whole life. Growing up eating these with my dad, always rooting on the Oberto hydroplanes in Seattle, the cocktail pep has always been a favorite but most recently the quality seems to have fallen off considerably with the casing being mush instead of snappy, totally grease logged and makes me want to vomit when I get one like that. I don't get these often as they are more of a treat, even my dog wouldn't eat it.
