4k Review
4k review. Disc played fine. Movie looked nice in 4k - no complaints. The movie itself I think is a little overrated but is a classic.

Great Movie, Great Product!
The 4K Blu-ray is easily the best way to enjoy this movie. Everything is shown in great detail without running into issues like compression you would find on a streaming service. Not only is the visual quality great but the audio mix was also done quite well!

Argyle is a frickin G. Al is literally the main character.
I really enjoyed watching Argyle punching Theo. He is a G fo dat. You may think the John McClane is the best character, but not, it's Al. He literally saved the day. He had a W redemption arc too. (John had W rizz tho.)

Yippee ki-yay!
"Die Hard" is an outstanding action movie. New York City police detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve to visit his wife played by Bonnie Bedelia. Their visit at the Nakatomi Plaza where a Christmas party is taking place gets interrupted by a band of terrorists led by Alan Rickman. With outstanding performances by Reginald VelJohnson and Paul Gleason, this now classic action movie from 1988 is definitely worth purchasing on 4K / Blu-Ray!

Review for the BLU-RAY!
Amazon really messes up combining reviews from every edition of the movie on one page... I don't think I need to say much about the movie, Die Hard is a five star action flick that still holds up after 30 years. I just upgraded my old DVD to the 30th anniversary Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray seems to have a crisper picture, but it's not all that big of a difference from the DVD. And it REALLY suffers from the dialogue being a lot quieter that the music and sound effects. I'm constantly turning the volume up and down to hear what people are saying. Long story short... If you're a die hard (ha!) fan, or NEED to upgrade to Blu-Ray because of your player, this is a good buy. If you already have a DVD and are just a casual 'watch it at Christmas' fan, there's really no reason to buy this version.

I don't care what Bruce says, it IS a Christmas movie!
We always spin this up at Christmas time because it's not Christmas season until Hans falls off the Nakatomi Building...When released in 88 (in July) Bruce was a solid comedic actor with great chops... Moonlighting (TV), Blind Date, Sunset...It was a little reach for him to play an action hero, but he did it solidly with bringing his comedic talents to make it fun. This movie was one of the best Action flicks of the 80s and is just fun. It kicked off a lot of actor's movie and TV careers.I bought this to bring my copy up to speed with the Blu-ray version. The transfer is clean and sharp... I really should have sprung for the 4K version since this was originally shot of film... But this definitely works well for me... It's now on my shelf with the DVD and Laserdisc versions of the movie! ;-)
