Just what I was looking for. Perfect for my camera setup

i screwed this on my black rapid camera sling then i clamped it on a nato rail attached on my dji ronin S. im happy with the support it provided. this doesnt mean there will be no stress on your arms working with the rig but takes away most of it in many occasions. comes clutch when resting in between shots.i also used this on a handheld camera rig (seen on the next picture)

This is a good NATO clamp release, but you have to make sure the locating pins of what you are attaching are pretty short. The ones I tried to use with this handle are a little too long and so it will not completely tighten to the clamp. I don't have a lot of parts with locating pins, so I could not test it on others. But you can see in the pictures that the locating pin holes are pretty shallow.Second, when you tighten the clamp, in my case it put the tip of the thumbscrew really close to some of my controls, so this might end up being in the way.I like the black and gold, although if you are one to keep the same color-scheme on all you accessories, it may have been nicer if they had a standard red or silver available.

Fit and finish are excellent. Lockup is tight. The lock handle is generous to the point of appearing somewhat outsized on such a small clamp. Lots of attachment options, though please see other reviews if you are using ARRI connector (I don’t).Having a supply of NATO rail connectors really speeds setup. Cheap, fast, and secure. What’s not to like?!

I run cages on all my camera bodies and I'm always swapping various accessories depending on what I'm shooting that day. This little guy allows me to quickly change things around because of its quick-release lever. I'm currently using it to attach one of my field monitors and even with the bulk of the monitor and battery it holds solid. Overall I'm happy with it, the build quality is great, and I've found it quite useful.

I got this in hopes of creating a mount for my night vision monocular. The monocular only had a 1/4-20 threaded hole too, so I had to make a post with jam nut for it. Since it's not a sight that needs to maintain a zero, a little off-center-ness shouldn't be a problem. Need to check it out in the dark and moving around. It might need some stabilizer somewhere.

If you're looking for a NATO Rail Lock Clamp, this is a great option to add some extra threading to your rig. I will say that this thing is tiny, so while it won't get in the way, it's also not going to offer much support outside of the threading (but it is great quality and strong, so I personally wouldn't worry)! I'm not a big fan of the gold knob, I wish it were red, black, or silver, but that's a pretty minor qualm.
