This magnet is WONDERFULLY USEFUL. I divide fraction inches all the time, trying to figure out what decimal is close, cross-referencing dimensions from a service manual, messing with the tape measure, messing with the socket wrench...this magnet lets me keep my phone in my pocket!As you can see from this picture, this magnet converts fraction inches to decimal inches to metric. All of this can come in wildly handily when in the garage, whether doing woodworking, monkey wrenching on the car, or doing some other cross english/metric system conversion.The magnet itself matches all the dimensions in the add, like x tall, y wide, and 1/100th of an inch thick. That's not quite half of 1/64th!!!If you have ever found yourself dividing fraction inches to get decimal, or messed with metric conversions, or do any sort of woodworking or garage work...get this, put it on your fridge, and fugettaboutit.

Not accurate

I have needed this chart forever. How many times have you used a calculator to try to even get approximate equivalents? It is convenient being a huge magnet making it appropriate for kitchen or shop. It is easy to read (not teeny tiny numerals) and gives multiple equivalents. Need one which gives liquid and weight equivalents. Will be very helpful on a daily basis.

This is a thick vinyl sheet with a magnetic back and sticks to almost anything metal. Obviously not stainless steel, but if a regular magnet sticks to it, this will too, and maybe even more because it is flexible and it will bend to get a good "stick" to it.I wish it had tap and clearance size holes written on this, I find it handy to know what is the tap size for a 12'24 machine screw, or what is the clearance size for that?? I knew it didn't have that when I ordered it, so I'm not deducting any stars because of my wish list. I will dig out my label maker and make some tiny labels to stick on this that will tell me tap and clearance holes.Overall, I use this almost daily and love it.
