Easy install
Perfect fit for the water heater, the damper and the supply. No leaks!

A no-brainer item when installing a smaller hot water expansion tank.
If you are using installing the smaller hot water expansion tank, (and have a little space on top of your hot water tank) then this is a no-brainer for an easy install. Install this, using a 3/4" dielectric nipple on the female end on top your hot water tank. Cold water input goes to the horizontal 3/4" male threads. (For an easy cutoff - use the SharkBite Max Stainless Steel Corrugated Flexible Water Heater Connector that offers a very nice ball valve available here on Amazon.) Lastly, install your tank on top. Looks professional.

Leaks
This products is well made and of good quality. However, it leaked. I did follow the instructions instructions (the box has a QR code tag you scan with your phone to download the manual), and I tried multiple times and it didn't matter how much I tightened it. I decided not to use it and instead I used just a regular bronze tee coupling. I didn't need the 360 degree swiveling after all,

Great design makes expansion tank install easy
The design of this part makes it easy to install an expansion tank on top of a water heater. The two piece fitting that connects to the cold water inlet on the hot water tank makes it possible to orient the horizontal side fitting in any direction you need. In my case I mounted the expansion tank vertically at the top and connected the cold water hose fitting that was previously connected directly to the water heater to the horizontal side fitting of this part. Without this part I would have needed to assemble multiple separate fittings, requiring more work. The build quality of this part is excellent. Highly recommended.

Seems very well built, but very large for a small area on a hot water tank
Unfortunately, I did not use this product for one of my hot water tanks. It seems very heavy duty. It just took up too much room in a small area but for the price it did seem worth it. Unfortunately, I could not use it. I will keep it in mind for the future.

Water Expansion Tank Perfect Fit
Quality was good and it worked exactly how it should. Used it on the cold side of my hot water heater for my water expansion tank. I used the male to male adapter it came with for it to correctly match up to everything.
