While it’s not the cheapest options my horses absolutely love this stuff! The favor must be great the smell to me is fantastic. Definitely think it works as my horses stay very hydrated on it! Quality is 10/10!

I was excited to try this product for my super picky horse. I trust the quality of SmartPak and this electrolyte is a great value for the price. Unfortunately, as with all electrolytes I’ve tried, my horse will not eat it. I was hoping that the cherry flavor would be more appealing, but I was wrong. I have tried many brands, flavors, and even the pellets but my horse snubs them all. I would still recommend this product as the quality is great and the texture of the product is very fine (almost like a powder). The reason for only three stars is simply because my horse won’t eat it.

I’ve used Smartpak products before, and with the confidence of 2 day Amazon shipping, this was the perfect way to try these electrolytes for my horse. Surprisingly, the cherry flavor was a huge hit! Well packaged, and the container seals well. Will be buying again!

This has helped a few of our older horses to stay hydrated better. We've notice them drinking more consistently from the water buckets. It is just what was needed for the hot summer (and warm fall) that we had.

I’ve been giving this to my 4 year old gelding for a month now. Our temps were in the 100°+ range for about a month and now high 90°s. It’s been hot to say the least!My horse seems to be doing well with hydration on this electrolyte blend. He drinks water and stays properly active for riding no signs of fatigue or muscle cramps which come with dehydration.He seems to like the flavor and gobbles it down in his supplement bucket daily. If I work him on a heavier routine I give him 2 scoops since he’s sweating heavily. Otherwise, I’ve been giving him 1 scoop per day.I will continue to have this supplement in his summer and winter routine. We get harsh cold snowy winters and I like to endure proper hydration in the extreme cold as well as in the heat of summer. My opinion is electrolytes help keep any colic at bay in winter because it stimulates them to drink more water to keep that dry feed wet and moving well through the intestines. Soaking feed in the winter is a real pain here because it’s super cold often snowing and I prefer not to become an icicle! Also keeping electrolytes palatable like this one is ensures that the horses actually eat it all!I soak alfalfa pellets in water then add 1-2 scoops of this electrolyte and other supplements then feed to him and he eats it right up!Great supplement for the working horse!

I got this for my elderly horse to ensure she was drinking during the heat of the summer. We had unusually hot days this year and this really seemed to help. Although her teeth and body condition are going down, she is acting like a youngster and I know that staying hydrated due to this product has really helped with that! I would recommend!
