Very nice, well built for an outdoor wood burning cooker
I read all of the reviews before buying this, and I can't figure out why some people have given this a bad review. This thing is really well built and there's things you can do to make it even better, like for example:1. My unit stands at 21 inches high, which is a little low for me, but the legs are a standard 1" pipe thread, so I ordered 3 1 inch black pipe nipples and some couplers to raise it up another 12 inches higher.2. The flue pipe believe it or not is stainless steel and is standard 4 inch pipe, you can add on to it if you like, which I will. It's made out of pretty thick metal so as long as you don't keep it out directly in the weather it'll last many years, personally I'd at least keep it under a carport or something like that. The weakest spot I see in this thing is the ash pan, it's made of thinner metal then the rest of it but if stored in the manner I suggested it shouldn't be a problem for many years. As far as the bad reviews I've read my question to those people is what do you expect an outdoor wood fired burner/cooker to be? It's not meant to be air tight like an indoor wood burner, it's designed to be simple so there's not a whole lot that can go wrong with it, it's low tech (really no tech) it's dependable, requires little to no maintenance and if treated with just a tiny bit of care will be around for a good 20 to 30 years. So get off of your high horse. To sum up I'm very glad I bought this despite the bad reviews..It also comes with a grill rack which looks to be stainless steel and very, very well built as well, the little tools they give you are a nice gesture but no where near the quality of the burner itself.I think it's a good value, looks good and isn't a really big, bulky thing either.

works great with a wok wood or charcoal
about this to use a wok for. cause my wife just came here from China and we actually use wood inside of it and been using wood in it for about five months now and it works amazing. We’ve used the rack that comes with it to make steaks and hamburgers and everything else it’s well worth the money and I would buy it again. I’d recommend it to anyone. Good quality, thick steel stainless steel smokestack strong legs on the bottom of it. This is better than a grill.

Love it!
I really like this stove. The different-size rings on top are super handy – you can fit pans or pots of various sizes, and even adjust how close they sit to the fire. Very clever design! The ash compartment is excellent and easy to use, but the latch on the main door could be improved. When the stove is hot, you have to be careful not to burn yourself when opening it. Also, the latch needs to be in just the right position to open the ash drawer.Overall, it's a very good, inexpensive stove that’s fun to cook with. We recently used it to make deep-fried fish, vegetables, and rice pilaf – all turned out great! I even brought it to a friend’s BBQ, and it got a lot of attention. I liked it so much, I ordered another one as a birthday gift for a friend who’s big into grilling and works with steel professionally. Can’t wait to hear what he thinks.Love it!

Very poor quality – not worth the price”
Very poor quality. The welding is sloppy and unfinished, with big gaps on the hatch that wasn’t fitted properly. No handle to open/close, poorly made hinge, and the chimney is badly designed.I already tried cooking with it, and just as I expected, opening and closing the vent is very inconvenient — it gets extremely hot and doesn’t work well. The included accessories (gloves, scissors, scoop, hook) are useless — the gloves look like they’re made for a child. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. The grill grate is acceptable and the ring set fits, but overall this product’s real value is no more than $50. I do not recommend.
