Great for wet polishing
Love this tool. The speed control makes it great to polish my rocks. Got 2 one to polish with, one to grind rocks. Comes with diamond polishing pads.

A good buy for the money!
Used this setup to polish the cut edge of a marble vanity top. Even enable me to add a bit of contour to a corner that had been chipped.

Works great, good customer service, but the first unit proved unreliable
I do like this unit which is sturdy and seems well built. They do not include all the attachments to use the water feed tube that is comes with it. Other reviews have mentioned that as well. If I wanted to drive to the hardware store to figure out what I need, I would not bother ordering from Amazon. In order to keep water dripping onto the wheel (which you definitely want to be doing), I had to make a stand for my hose. After using this successfully for maybe a week, the motor suddenly started running way too fast and could not be adjusted. There are zero instructions for using this unit, by the way, and no information to troubleshoot such a thing. I turned the unit off and left it for the day thinking maybe it had overheated somehow. When I came back to it the following day the unit would not turn on. I tried all the usual things like resetting the GFI and, using a different outlet to no avail. It would not turn on at all. My thought was that maybe the motor had burned out so I immediately filled out a return. I was sent a new unit immediately. A couple of days later I went to pack up the old unit and tried it again and this time it switched on and ran. I actually do not know what caused the problem with this motor. I went ahead and sent the original unit back because I can't figure out why it became unreliable. I am giving 4 stars because when it works, it works great and because they replaced the unit so fast. However, including instructions and trouble shooting may have saved them from getting a return, and they need to include all the pieces to use the water feed system.

Rotates way to fast
The low speed on this tool rotates way to fast to do a proper grind on a counter top. Job becomes very messy when it really isn’t necessary. It was cheap, I guess I got what I paid for.😕
