This knife has a perfect blade. thick spine tapers to a razor. I use these "chef knives as personal steak knives. Restaurants supply, to cut their steaks, ALWAYS dull, ALWAYS serrated, ALWAYS "meat shredders." So, I carry my own. I started with a Japanese actual "personal steak knife with a nice leather case," however it is small, tiny, far too little for a 26 oz Prime Rib. So, I've found that the Chef Knives, like this one, or good sized and cut steak like butter, making the fine Steak and Prime Rib eating experience, even better. This knife has a bit of a chunky handle, large in the pocket, but it actually makes the steak experience, better. The price is great (incredible), for what you get, GOOD STEEL, great buy.

Wow this little baby , is outstanding it has all the attributes of a full size kitchen knife . The steel ! Wow the steel , this little girl can and will be able to work in any field . But if used for producing a great bush food ,With out the hassle of carrying your full sized , chef's roll this is your baby I loveusing it , it produced all the worked I asked it to do ! No ! It's not made for jumping a Grizzly ! But its great for cooking in the back woods ! MONTANA

Best knife I have ever bought. It fits my hand like it was made for me. It is very sharp and very sturdy. Its size gives me confidence in chopping.

This is a pretty decent knife however this particular one I think is a second the blade still shows the sharpening marks or saw marks wasn't buffed out completely other than that pretty nice for the price

This is a very nice folding chef's knife. It's large enough to work well for food prep. Its well made, solid, and made from a good stainless steel with a comfortable and attractive wooden handle. I was sent the wrong knife initially. They sent me the fruit knife which, while not bad, is similar to many knifes I already have. But they replaced it immediately, and once I'm credited for the return, all should be well. Compared to other folding chef knifes of equivalent size and quality, this is a deal, and the competitors seems severely overpriced. Overall I really like this knife, and for a folder to just throw in the pack for a picnic this is an excellent choice.

I have 2 full sized Nakiri knives, a 7" and a 6.5" and I was looking for a 5" Nakiri as well, I came across this one, I was in a bit of shock actually that they even made a folding Nakiri, it was beyond my imagination, I read the reviews, and that is where it stopped, nothing on YouTube about these, so I decided to take a chance and I am so happy I did, the fact that the knife is extremely sharp and it locks into place too, it is indeed a 5" Nakiri, I was able to chop up all my veggies with no issue, I was able to hone it on my steel with no issue as well, and fold it back down with no issue. I did not buy this for camping, but for my kitchen when I just feel like using a smaller Nakiri. The joy for me is using my knives in all different sizes, and sometimes I like using the full size, other times the smaller one, so this is exactly what I needed, the bonus is, I CAN take it camping if we go because it folds, therefore is protected.

This is a lovely knife in my opinion, I keep it with my luggage so I always have a good nige to cut fruit or vegetables with etc., but I also love the way it looks, and that it's not got all sorts of plastic parts. It's also just so nice to use. Fit's nice and comfortable in my hands.
