I inadvertently ordered wrong height size of these bulbs. They are too high. As a consequence I had to do some swapping about with my many lamps and glad I did. They give a lovely ambience and are of course eco friendly. I've had these bulbs before and it must be years since the last one gave up the ghost and it would have been in use every day so obviously good value for money. A good buy.

I got these bulbs for my table lamps in the living room, as I felt the usual warm light bulbs didn't light the room up enough, and as I enjoy reading and painting, I find these things easier to do with a cooler colour temperature of light.These bulbs produce a very clear light, more on the cool side of the spectrum, ideal for what I need them for. I genuinely feel that my room is brighter on these dark nights than it would be with soft warm light.The only negative I can state is that after2 months one bulb started to flicker slightly, then went out. When the package arrived, that particular bulb had a strange rattling sound, and I initially thought it had been damaged. I didn't return it at the time as when I tried it, it worked, however it probably did sustain some damage in transit which meant it wasn't able to last anywhere near the 10,000 hours it is meant to.That said, I don't regret purchasing these, and intend to get more of them in the future.

Bought 6 bulbs. One blew as soon as I turned the light on. How long these other 5 last who knows. Not happy as it's an inconvenience to me having to go to post office to return it etc.They are bright though after they warm up - happy about that.
