AICHESON Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad with Powerful Cooler Fans, RGB Lighting and Phone Holder for 15-19 inch Laptops and PC Computers

I was sceptical about whether or not this would make a difference. I have an MSI GF63 Thin and while playing Cyberpunk my GPU temps reach upwards of 68°c without cooling. With this cooling pad it runs <52°c on ultra graphics settings. My laptop fits perfectly snug on top. Being able to control the fan speed is a god send and should come standard on every gaming laptop cooling pad. RGB lights are a bonus. All in all I'm extremely pleased with the performance!

I would have given 3.5 stars if I could have. It works well for me but I have a couple of specific issues.First the good. The sizing is great for my 15" laptop. The adjustable front clips take some work to get them where you want them but work great for keeping your laptop in place along with the foam. While you lose some of the fans cold air with no foam at the top and bottom, you gain open air to use the item without the fan for laptops with bottom ventilation till the laptop heats up and you need the fan. The fan isn't too loud. The lower settings are quieter or as quiet as my laptop's built-in cooling fan. It does actually help cool my laptop when it starts running hotter.Now the bad. The levels of elevation with the bar used to raise it to an angle are all VERY steep. Anyone wanting only a shallow 10-20% angle for their laptop will be very disappointed here. The shallowest angle you can get is 30-35% at best. Second complaint is the buttons aren't proper buttons at all. They are high-pressure springs beneath a thin plastic cover.

Keeps the laptop much cooler when playing games. It is powered off of USB and not a wall wort but has a port to use for a mouse or other peripherals that you may swap out to power it. The lights are kinda bright when they are on but you can turn them off or change to a less destructive pattern.

Lasted less than 2 months of intermittent use. When it worked, it worked well. However, the "speed controller" located at the bottom right stopped working today (Feb 23rd, 2025) and it's stuck at the lowest speed of 300, rendering the product useless. Don't waste on your money on this garbage.

Update: the plastic base bar that supports the elevation bar snapped, just don't think it's strong enough for the weight of a full sized laptop. Had it now about 3 months, the three months it didn't break were great. If they had replacement bars it would be an easy fix.I was torn between 4 and 5 stars. It works well, at first I didn't think my laptop was going to fit the retention tabs that keep it from sliding off but they are adjustable if you pull them at the correct angle.The only negatives are personal preferences, the power and lights buttons are hold for a few seconds rather then just push. Also lights are on by default unless there is a way to change it.The scrolling wheel to adjust speeds is nice. I actually ended up liking the foam on the surface too.

Cooling pad works perfectly! I use my laptop quite a bit and am usually mobile with it. It tends to get warm on my lap and I've been through multiple coolers simply from use. I found this one at a less expensive price with more bells and whistles and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever - the ability to change the fan speeds, colors and foam supports are great!!!

This keeps my laptop running. The colors are fun - or - you can turn them off. I do not notice the sound of the fan. I do wonder where to get the filters; mine keeps jumping off. Thanks!

I was skeptical about this pad at first. My computer gets really hot during on line gaming and I wasn’t sure anything would work, without hearing the fan run. First my Pros:I have to say this mat runs really quiet, and the variable speed is nice. The mat is wide enough for my 17” Alienware laptop. The hold down clamps are actual metal, and adjustable. The two USB ports on the back are nice so you can plug in other devises. The controls are easy enough to figure out.Cons: I wish there was a way to set a profile and not have to go thru all the light settings to get to something less distracting. The lights always start up going round and round and changing colors really fast. Also you have to disconnect the cooling pad from the laptop when you shut down or the lights stay on and the laptop will restart as the lid won’t close all the way due to the metal clips that hold the laptop to the pad. I can deal with this as I enjoy having the lap top secure.All around this is a decent buy and it saves my laptop from getting too hot.
