It's reinforced with fiberglass mesh, making it incredibly durable. It's so strong that you need scissors to cut it – a bit of a downside if you're used to tearing off your tape quickly. The sticky residue left on the scissors is a minor nuisance, but this level of adhesion does give me confidence that whatever I'm binding isn't going to come loose easily.🔄 When it comes to versatility, this tape delivers. I’m sick of purchasing packaging tape that either does not stick or that tears easily. I jumped at the chance to try something more substantial.The first thing I noticed was just how sticky this is. Before being able to cut a piece I had to separate the four tape rolls from their packaging. After removing the first cellophane layer I found that each of the rolls had been separated by another plastic layer, reminiscent of layering tissue. Getting this off the roll was tricky as the flat edge of the roll was really, really tacky!Once off, the next thing I noticed was how thick the tape is. Unlike regular tape it was really easy to locate the end. Again, cutting a piece off showed just how sticky this tape is.In use, the tape adheres really well and is not going to be torn. I could not remove the tape from cardboard after sticking it down and I note the warning given in the description that this tape will leave a residue on hard surfaces. I’d recommend cutting with scissors that you don’t mind getting sticky!Given how sticky it is, and the fact that the seller acknowledges this , it would be good if this tape were sent out in a box or other container as the issue I now have is that I have 4 rolls of tape, with very sticky edges, that I need to store somewhere where they won’t get stuck or covered in dust and debris. It was impossible to unpack a roll without destroying the cellophane wrapper and the first layer of separating plastic. When I ordered the 'LLPT Filament Strapping Tape Fiberglass Mesh Reinforced 25mm x 33m' I had never used fibreglass mesh reinforced tape before. I've probably used every other kind of tape but not this one.The 4 rolls arrive in a plastic wrap and it is evident that the adhesive sticks to everything. So once you use a roll it would be a good idea to have a plan to how you will store it. The tape itself is very strong, the adhesive is very sticky and I used it straight away to do an interim repair on a broken veg cooler box lid in my fridge. 4 weeks later and it is still holding very well.For box sealing and reinforcing this stuff is supreme, there is no possibility that this stuff will rip enroute to any destination.At a price of £15.99 I think this is great value, for applications which require a tough and robust solution. It is definitely more expensive than normal parcel tape but offers a much more secure seal.

I have never used tape that was 100% reliable when packing cardboard boxes. How many times have I bought "dedicated" brown packing tape, only to find that it doesn't stick well and have to come up with all sorts of ideas to keep it secure, like wrapping the tape around the box and wasting a ton of it.This tape is a very nice surprise. It's so sticky that it's actually hard to remove the original packaging from it. An interesting aspect of this tape is that it is thicker than standard brown tape, which means it is quite easy to find the edge of the tape.The tape is fiberglass reinforced, although I can't think of a case of using it in a home setting, but I'm sure other users would appreciate it.The tape adheres very well and stays in place. This also means it may leave some residue on the surface, but this wouldn't be a problem if you're mainly using it to secure boxes for shipping. It is a strong and reliable product that I am more than happy to use as a replacement for brown tape.
